摘要: An image forming apparatus includes an image sensor comprising a plurality of pixels at least part of which form a plurality of focus detection pixel pairs, each receiving light rays passing through different pupil areas of an image forming optical system; a detection unit configured to detect a defocus amount, based on a phase difference between signals output from the focus detection pixel pairs in a focusing area; a judging unit configured to determine if a subject corresponds to a predetermined pattern, based on the signals output from the pixels other than the focus detection pixel pairs around the focus detection pixel pairs in the focusing area; and a focus control unit configured to drive the image forming optical system to be in an in-focus state based on the detected defocus amount. The judging unit changes focus control, performed by the focus control unit, based on the determination result.

摘要: The present technology relates to an image processing apparatus, an image processing method, electronic equipment and a program which can remove cyclic noise from an image including the cyclic noise. An estimating unit configured to estimate cyclic noise components included in each image picked up under different exposure conditions for each image is included. The estimating unit estimates the cyclic noise components for each image through operation utilizing mutual relationship between the noise components under the exposure conditions. For example, the cyclic noise is flicker. The mutual relationship between the noise components may be expressed with a shutter function of the exposure conditions in frequency space. The present technology may be applied to an imaging apparatus.

摘要: There are provided an apparatus and a method which generate an RGB image having less color noise and fewer false colors by inputting an RGBW image. The apparatus has an image sensor having an RGBW array, and an image processing unit which performs image processing by inputting a sensor image formed of an RGBW pixel signal output from the image sensor. The image sensor has a periodic array of a unit composition formed of each RGBW pixel, and has an array in which composition ratios of each RGB pixel within the unit composition are adapted to be the same as each other. The image processing unit converts a pixel array of the sensor image formed of the RGBW pixel signal, and performs at least either array conversion processing for generating an RGB array image or signal processing for generating each RGB image signal in which all RGB pixel values are set for each pixel position of the sensor image.

摘要: The invention relates to a device and method for detecting rain (4). The device for detecting rain comprises a camera with an image sensor (5) and colour filters for pixels of the image sensor in a number of primary filter colours (R; G; B) and an illumination source (3) for producing monochrome light (h) of a first primary filter colour. The monochrome light is located in a visible wavelength range which is transmitted by the first primary filter colour and blocked by the other primary filter colours. The camera and the illumination source (3) are designed and arranged in such a manner that the camera can detect a signal from the monochrome light (r1, r2') with which the illumination source illuminates a plate (2).
