    摘要: The invention relates to a method for detecting weather-related visibility limitations, wherein image data are produced by means of a bifocal camera (1). The camera is focused on the windshield in a first image area and on the vehicle surroundings in a second image area. If wetting of the windshield with moisture and/or condensate is detected, a first evaluation signal is generated. In order to detect a visibility limitation due to fog and/or wetting of the windshield with moisture and/or condensate, a second evaluation signal follows. A control device (2) is also provided, which activates a windshield wiper (3) if first and second evaluation signals (St1, St2) are generated and deactivates the windshield wiper after a specified duration if the first and second evaluation signals (St1, St2) are present after the specified duration and activates a window heater (4) of the vehicle after the windshield wiper (3) has been deactivated, and which activates a warning device (5) and/or a front fog lamp (6) and/or a rear fog lamp (7) if only the second evaluation signal is present.     摘要: The invention relates to a device for detecting rain (4). The device comprises a camera (1) and a lighting source (3, 30) for emitting visible light (h, n) onto a window (2). The camera (1) and the lighting source (3, 30) are embodied and arranged in such a way that the camera can detect a signal of the visible light (r1, r2') which the lighting source emits onto the window (2). In particular, in this context the signal which is detected by the camera (1) correlates with visible light (r1, r2') of the lighting source (3, 30), which visible light is reflected or scattered at the inside (2.1) of the window or outside (2.2) of the window and/or at the raindrop (4). The visible light passes through a shutter device (20) which causes the light to be blocked or highly attenuated in a predefined direction perpendicular to the illumination direction of structures (21) of the shutter device (20). In contrast, the light in the direction perpendicular to the predefined direction and to the illumination direction can propagate virtually unimpeded through the shutter device.
