Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Bearbeitungseinheit (7) für eine Werkzeugmaschine, mit einer Trägerkopfbasis (8) welche an deren Rückseite einen an Achsführungen (6) ankoppelbaren und längsverschiebbar Schlitten aufweist, wobei ein Spindelträgerkopf (10) an der Trägerkopfbasis (8) verschwenkbar gehalten ist, wobei der Spindelträgerkopf (10) eine Spindel (11) mit einer Werkzeugaufnahme (12) aufweist. Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung ist es, eine Bearbeitungseinheit (7) anzugeben, mit welcher die Präzision einer Werkzeugmaschine erhöht werden kann. Erfindungsgemäß ist die Trägerkopfbasis (8) mit einer Dämpfungseinheit (17) versehen. Gemäß eines nebengeordneten Aspektes betrifft die Erfindung eine Werkzeugmaschine, die die erfindungsgemäße Bearbeitungseinheit umfasst.

In the method of processing the tempered glass in which a stacked block (1a) acting as a chemical tempered glass (1) is processed by using a processing device (8) under a condition that the processing device (8) is rotated and vibrated, the stacked block (1a) is cut out from a stack (1A) acting as the chemical tempered glass (1) by using a dicing blade (84), prior to the processing of the stacked block (1a) by using the processing device (8), and a finishing to an outer periphery of the stacked block (1a) is also performed during the processing of the stacked block (1a) by using the processing device (8).

A tool holder is provided that prevents chattering in a large-sized cutting tool. A tool holder 1 includes an anti-vibration device 100 provided in a radially outer portion of a body 20. The anti-vibration device 100 has a ring-shaped first anti-vibration member 110 and a second 5 anti-vibration member 150. The anti-vibration device 100 is fixed to the body 20 together with a cutting tool T 1 by means of a bolt 160. Four O-rings 130 are arranged on both sides of the first anti-vibration member 110, and the damper property is adjusted by pressing a pressing plate 140 with adjuster bolts 170. An appropriate gap is formed between the first anti-vibration member 110 and the body 20 and between the first anti-vibration member 110 and the second anti-vibration member 150.
