摘要: Realized is a method for restoring the activity of a catalyst for producing a carbonate ester by a simple technique with no use of a complicated step such as calcining or the like to allow the catalyst to be reusable, and a method for producing a carbonate ester at a high yield by use of the catalyst thus regenerated. The above-described problem has been solved by a method for regenerating a catalyst containing CeO 2 , the catalyst being usable for a carbonate ester generation reaction of generating a carbonate ester from carbon dioxide and an alcohol, the method comprising (a) a separation step of separating the catalyst as a crude catalyst from a reaction solution of carbon dioxide and the alcohol; and (b) a catalyst processing step of washing the crude catalyst with a washing alcohol to provide a purified catalyst.

摘要: A process for the purification of CO2 from chlorinated hydrocarbons and non-chlorinated hydrocarbons, comprising: contacting a CO2 stream with a chromium oxide catalyst, wherein the stream comprises the CO2, and impurities, wherein the impurities comprise the non-chlorinated hydrocarbons and the chlorinated hydrocarbons; forming a purified CO2 stream by interacting the impurities with the chromium oxide catalyst to form additional CO2 and chromium chloride; and regenerating the chromium oxide catalyst by contacting the chromium chloride with an oxygen containing gas stream.

摘要: Provided is a method of regenerating an exhaust gas treatment catalyst 11 having ash adhered to a surface thereof. The method includes a crushing step (S1) in which the exhaust gas treatment catalyst (11) is crushed such that 70 to 95 wt% of the whole exhaust gas treatment catalyst (11) becomes coarse pieces (12) having a size exceeding a threshold size (S) (any value in a range of 0.105 to 1.0 mm); a separating step (S2) in which the fragments obtained by crushing the exhaust gas treatment catalyst (11) are separated into the coarse pieces (12) having a size exceeding threshold size (S) and fine particles (13) having a size not larger than the threshold size (S); a pulverizing step (S3) in which the coarse pieces (12) thus separated are pulverized to a fine powder having an average particle diameter of not larger than 0.1 mm; a kneading step (S4) and a molding step (S5) in which the fine powder is kneaded with other raw materials and molded into an exhaust gas treatment catalyst; and a drying step (S6) and a calcining step (S7) in which the molded precursor is dried and calcined to thus obtain a regenerated exhaust gas treatment catalyst (14).

摘要: Generally, regenerable, encapsulated metal oxide catalysts comprising a ceramic matrix and metal catalysts may be used to convert alkanes to alkenes. The encapsulated metal oxide catalyst may be tailored to produce a variety of alkenes including ethylene, butylene, and propylene. Further, the encapsulated metal oxide catalysts advantageously allow for regeneration and reactant recovery for cost effective and environmentally friendly processes.
