- predicting an upcoming driving event associated with a start time and a time duration, the driving event being an event during which the vehicle is expected to be operated under a load condition,
- determining a preferred operating condition of the fuel cell system during the predicted upcoming driving event based on the load condition and on the time duration, and
- controlling the power system by performing a preparation action associated with the power system in dependence of the determined operating condition of the fuel system before the start time of the predicted upcoming driving event.-

摘要: A mobile energy supply system may include a fuel source, an energy converter, and a transfer device. The fuel source may be disposed onboard a vehicle chassis and may hold a supply of a fuel. The energy converter may be disposed onboard the vehicle chassis and may convert at least a portion of the supply of the fuel from the fuel source into electric energy. The transfer device may be disposed onboard the vehicle chassis and be electrically couplable to a propulsion vehicle. The transfer device may transfer the electric energy from the energy converter offboard of the vehicle chassis and to the propulsion vehicle for powering a propulsion system of the propulsion vehicle.

The method comprises:
- receiving (S1) a total power request for said electric power producing assembly (130),
- determining (S2) information related to a power level currently expected from said energy storage system (120) on the basis of said total power request,
- using (S3) dead band limits for said energy storage system (120),
- determining (S4) a first fuel cell power request as a portion of the power level currently expected from said energy storage system (120) being outside one of said energy storage system dead band limits, and
- controlling (S5) said fuel cell system (110) on the basis of at least said first fuel cell power request.-

摘要: The invention relates to a method for controlling a power assembly comprising a fuel cell unit and an electric energy storage system. The method comprises:
- predicting (S1) a power demand for power delivery from the power assembly over a prediction horizon,
- calculating (S2) costs associated with controlling the power assembly according to at least two different control scenarios during the prediction horizon, wherein the at least two different control scenarios include a first control scenario in which the fuel cell unit is turned off, and a second control scenario in which the fuel cell unit is turned on. For each of said control scenarios, the associated cost includes at least a cost associated with an expected ability or non-ability of the power assembly to deliver power according to the predicted power demand, a cost associated with fuel consumption, and a cost associated with fuel cell degradation,
- comparing (S3) the calculated costs of the respective at least two control scenarios to obtain a comparison result,
- selecting (S4) one of the at least two control scenarios based on the comparison result, and
- controlling (S5) the power assembly according to the selected control scenario.-
