摘要: A method for onboard hydrogen production for use in fuel cells in a fuel cell electric vehicle (FCEV) is disclosed. The method comprises transferring vehicular-generated electrical energy produced by a regenerative braking system during braking and/or decent of the FCEV to one or more hydrogen electrolyzers. Water obtained from operation of one or more hydrogen fuel cells during generation of electricity from hydrogen is provided to the one or more hydrogen electrolyzers. Hydrogen is generated by means of the one or more hydrogen electrolyzers from water and the vehicular-generated electrical energy and collected in a hydrogen storage device. Heat emitted during operation of the FCEV is directed to the one or more hydrogen electrolyzers to accelerate production of hydrogen gas by the one or more hydrogen electrolyzers. A system, and a vehicle comprising a system for onboard hydrogen production for use in fuel cells in a FCEV is also disclosed.

- determining a preferred operating condition of the fuel cell system during the predicted upcoming driving event based on the load condition and on the time duration, and
- controlling the power system by performing a preparation action associated with the power system in dependence of the determined operating condition of the fuel system before the start time of the predicted upcoming driving event.-

摘要: A mobile energy supply system may include a fuel source, an energy converter, and a transfer device. The fuel source may be disposed onboard a vehicle chassis and may hold a supply of a fuel. The energy converter may be disposed onboard the vehicle chassis and may convert at least a portion of the supply of the fuel from the fuel source into electric energy. The transfer device may be disposed onboard the vehicle chassis and be electrically couplable to a propulsion vehicle. The transfer device may transfer the electric energy from the energy converter offboard of the vehicle chassis and to the propulsion vehicle for powering a propulsion system of the propulsion vehicle.
