Abstract:
Provided is a moisture-permeable waterproof fabric that can reduce the environmental load through carbon neutrality and longer product life and has excellent waterproof properties and moisture permeability. The moisture-permeable waterproof fabric according to the present invention is a moisture-permeable waterproof fabric including a porous moisture-permeable waterproof membrane on at least one surface of a fabric, in which polyurethane forming the moisture-permeable waterproof membrane is synthesized using a polyol including a polycarbonate diol having plant-derived components.
Abstract:
Protective garments are disclosed having a fabric material treated with a durable water resistant treatment. In accordance with the present disclosure, the durable water resistant treatment is substantially free of fluorocarbon chemicals and yet provides not only excellent water resistance, but also has excellent durability properties.
Abstract:

Stable aqueous poly(urea/urethane) polymers and dispersions are made that do not require the inclusion of chain extenders, curing agents or crosslinking agents.
Abstract:
The invention relates to water dispersible finishing compositions for fibrous substrates including fibers, fabrics, carpets, nonwoven webs, and the like. The finishing compositions can impart to the fibrous substrate soil resistance and a range of hydrophilic properties from water repellency to water absorbency. Preferably, the finishing compositions can impart stain resistance to the fibrous substrate. The invention also relates to methods for treating fibrous substrates with the finishing compositions of this invention. The compositions can be applied to the substrate and subsequently cured at ambient temperature or above.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for crease-proofing textiles containing cellulose by treating the textiles with a finishing agent and drying the treated textiles, said finishing agent containing (A) one or more hydrophilically modified polyisocyanates and/or (B) one or more polyurethanes in a dissolved or dispersed form.
Abstract:
A blocked isocyanate emulsion containing a blocked isocyanate, a surfactant and a liquid medium, wherein a weight ratio of the blocked isocyanate to the surfactant is from 60/40 to 90/10 and an average particle diameter is not larger than 250 nm, gives a stable water- and oil-repellent composition which has no sedimentation for a long period of time even if the blocked isocyanate emulsion is mixed with a water- and oil-repellent.
Abstract:
