    摘要: A method of manufacturing integrated circuits based on providing a test column of memory cells in the devices. A test control processor (100) and a test board (101) for gang testing of integrated circuits (00, 01, 10, 11, 20, ...). Cells in the test column are selected by a portion of the addresses which identifies a row in the main array on the device. A test is executed to determine a characteristic of the device and the results of that test are mapped to the portion of the address which identifies a row in the array. This produces a characteristic code address for the device which indicates the test results of the test. Access to the test column on the device is enabled and a bit is written in response to the characteristic code address in a memory cell on the test column. During manufacture the test column is read in order to classify the device according to the characteristic. This allows for storing in a look up format significant amounts of data about the characteristics of the device without requiring large amounts of memory on the device, and substantially relieving the testing system of a requirement for memory resources.

The system includes: a) at least two water weight sensors (42A-42E) that are positioned adjacent to the wire wherein the at least two sensors (42A-42E) are positioned at different locations in the direction of movement of the wire (13) and upstream from a dry line (43) which develops during operation of the machine and the sensors (42A-42E) generate signals indicative of a water weight profile made up of a multiplicity of water weight measurements; and b) adjustability of at least one of the stock jet speed, sheet speed, wire speed, or refiner load to cause the water weight profile to match a preselected or optimal water weight profile.

    摘要: Driving power for a vibrating device is provided at less than full level when the device is initially used. Power is gradually increased in successive steps after a selected number of uses in each step until full power is achieved. Also, a battery-energized driving signal for a vibrating device has a selected characteristic, such as duty cycle, which in set initially at less than an optimum value, when the battery is at full strength. As the battery discharges, the selected characteristic is adjusted toward optimum so as to compensate for reduction in the battery voltage and ensure full power output.
