摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a binder useful in the production of urethane coating materials, etc., from recycled polyesters by mixing the reaction product obtained from a polyester, a di- or poly-ol or an aminoalcohol, and a fatty acid ester with a compound selected from a diol, etc. SOLUTION: This binder comprises compounds of formulae I and/or II and at least one member selected from compounds of formulae III to VII. In the formulae, a group of formula VIII is an aromatic-group-containing polyester repeating unit; n is 1-4; A is O or N; x is 1 or 2; y is 0 or 1, provided that x+y=2 when A is N, and x is 1 and y is 0 when A is O; R1 is a polyester segment; R2 is an (OH-substituted) aliphatic, cyclic, or aromatic 1-8C hydrocarbon group, a di-, tri, or tetra-alkyl ether group, or a (poly)ester group; R3 is an OH-substituted 11-21C alkyl; R4 is H or a hydroxylalkyl; Q is an (OH- substituted) 3-6C alkyl residue; and p is 1-4. It is desirable that the binder contains 14-24 wt.%, based on the total weight of the binder, O-R1-CO groups.

摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a primary amide derivative amt to selectively convert only the amino group of an aminodiol into the N-acylate derivative by reacting the aminodiol with a fatty acid alkyl ester in an alcohol not crystallizing at a room temperature and having a relatively high boiling point as a solvent. SOLUTION: This method for producing a primary amide derivative of formula II comprise reacting an aminodion of formula I(R is a 11-19C saturated linear aliphatic hydrocarbon with a fatty acid alkyl ester of the formula: R COOR (R is a 9-19C linear aliphatic hydrocarbon which may have a hydroxyl group at the 1-position: R is a lower alkyl) in the presence of a basic catalyst in an alcoholic solvent (preferably a 3-8C alcohol, especially n-butanol), while the lower alcohol by-produced during the reaction is distilled out from the reaction system. Thus, the objective product useful as a basic material for cosmetics having moisture-retaining effects in skins can be obtained in a high yield.
