An extruded foam sheet having a foam layer constituted of a base resin containing low density polyethylene as a major component thereof, wherein the foam sheet has an apparent density of 45 to 450 kg/m3, an average thickness of 0.03 mm or more and less than 0.3 mm and a dimensional change of −5% to 0% in the extrusion direction when heated at 80° C. for 24 hours and wherein cell walls of the foam layer have an average thickness of 6 to 70 μm. The foam sheet may be used as an interleaf sheet for glass plates.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ethylene-propylene-diene rubber foamed material that has excellent flexibility and excellent heat resistance and is capable of suppressing corrosion, and a sealing material.SOLUTION: An EPDM foamed material is obtained by foaming a rubber composition containing an EPDM. In the EPDM foamed material, the content ratio of a sulfur atom calculated based on the measurement result of a fluorescent X-ray measurement, based on mass, is 1000 ppm or less, a rate of change Rof a 50% compressive load value CL2 after being heated at 140°C for 7 days to a 50% compressive load value CL1 before being heated is 50% or more and 150% or less, and the 50% compressive load value CL1 before being heated is 0.1 N/cmor more and 2 N/cmor less. A sealing material 1 includes an EPDM foamed material 2 and an adhesive layer 3 provided on one face or both faces thereof.

The present invention relates to a connecting apparatus used for connecting underground pipes and to a composition for preparing a foamed sheet for the same. Specifically, the present invention relates to a sheet composition for pipe connection which comprises 1 to 10 parts by weight of a masterbatch including low-density polyethylene, high-density polyethylene, a maleic anhydride graft copolymer, a metallocene polyethylene elastomer, a foaming agent, and an additive, based on 100 parts by weight of a base resin including low-density polyethylene, high-density polyethylene, a maleic anhydride graft copolymer, and a metallocene polyethylene elastomer. When using the composition according to the present invention, a non-foamed sheet is produced during melt extrusion, and a foamed sheet is obtained at a high temperature by laminating the non-foamed sheet with a heater line and applying electricity thereto. Therefore, the sheet composition can be fused and filled into a pipe.
