PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely form external tooth profile components, which have a variety of shapes, by upsetting. SOLUTION: In the early stage of a leading process, the flow of material is promoted by concentrating a load on a contact portion of an annular projection 6a of a punch 601 for the leading process with an annular blank 1 while preventing the increase of working surface pressure applied to a die. Because a forming surface of a punch 602 for the following process has a small annular projection 6a' smaller than the annular projection 6a of the punch 601 for the leading process, the small annular projection 6a' of the punch 602 for the following process is inserted with a clearance S into the annular groove 5c formed in the annular blank 1 by the annular projection 6a of the punch 601 for the leading process. The clearance S functions as a recess for run off. Thus, the charge of material into an external tooth profile forming surface 8a of the die 8 can be promoted while preventing the increase in working surface pressure on a forming die 4. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forming die and a forming method, which can precisely form an external tooth profile product, which has a boss and a variety of product shapes, in one process of upsetting. SOLUTION: A punch 6 has a projection 6a. A counter punch 7 has a projection 7a. Annular grooves 5c, 5d are formed by plunging the projections 6a, 7a into the upper and lower surfaces of an annular blank 1, respectively. The charge of material for a tooth profile forming surface 8a of a die 8 is uniformly controlled by the flow of material caused by the forming of the annular grooves 5c, 5d. Thus, an accurate tooth profile can be formed by preventing the imperfect charge of material at the end porion of the external tooth profile. The annular grooves 5c, 5d function as a divide for performing the flow of material necessary for the tooth profile forming portion of the annular blank 1 and the boss forming portion. SOLUTION: This device comprises: a means 22 for storing "a space requiring control by priority of safety" and "a space allowing control by priority of productivity" in a space having dimensions such as a distance to a non-entry region and speed; a storage means 17 of an avoiding trajectory group; a storage means 18 of an entry trajectory group; and a means 12 for judging whether an actual trajectory of the robot belongs to the avoiding trajectory group or the entry trajectory group. The device also has a means 26 for allowing a robot operation to continue unless it is judged to belong to the entry trajectory group when a movement condition of the robot is in "a soft safety control allowing space", and for restraining continuous robot operation unless it is judged to belong to the avoiding trajectory group in "a careful safety control requiring space". SOLUTION: A signal discrimination part 23 sets a threshold area in an arbitrary area which is approximately equally distant from two signals allowed for a split phase signal and where it is difficult to discriminate a reception signal, and error correction processing is performed only for discrimination of the reception signal included in the threshold area. With respect to the error correction processing, error correction candidates of two signals sequences are generated, and the two signal sequences are decoded to perform error detection, and the passed signal sequence is selected to perform the error correction processing. In the case that error of a retransmission signal is detected, likelihood of the first reception signal and that of the retransmission signal are accumulated to restore a correct reception signal. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar battery cell together with its manufacturing method, wherein a relatively minute electrode is easily formed on a solar light receiving surface in a simple process. SOLUTION: Each of a plurality of comb-like electrodes 30 provided on a solar light receiving surface 28 comprises an electroless plating conductive layer 39 which is directly fitted to the solar light receiving surface 28 of a semiconductor body in an electroless plating process P7. So, the electroless plating conductive layer 39 is selectively formed only by touching electroless plating liquid. Compared to a conventional process in which a metal vapor- deposition layer is formed before forming a plating conductive layer 40, the expensive manufacturing facility for metal vapor deposition in a vacuum chamber and a relatively large space therefor are not required, resulting in a relatively simple process, while the decrease in the number of processes lowers a manufacturing cost. The mask alignment for forming an electrode is not required. Such a inconvenience as increase in the number of process or decrease in yield caused by variation in the alignment is settled.
