    摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the thermal deterioration of a capacitor formed by a film made of resin, and to provide measures against the so-called beat sound of the capacitor element.
    SOLUTION: The capacitor element comprises: ceiled cylindrical inner/outer cases 1a, 1b in a multiple configuration; the capacitor element 2 stored in the case 1a; lead wires 3, 4 led to the outside of an opening on the lower surface of the cases 1a, 1b from the capacitor element 2; and a sealing element 7 that has through holes 5, 6 through which the lead wires 3, 4 pass and is fitted to the opening on the lower surface of the case 1a. The capacitor element 2 is in structure where the film made of resin having an electrode on the surface is wound, and a space is formed between the outer surface of the capacitor element 2 and the inner surface of the inner case 1a.

    摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem for a capacitor having a self-protection function where the capacitance reduction is suppressed after charged for a long time by decreasing the size of the divided metallized electrode but the self-protection becomes not sufficient and the dielectric loss often increases although the capacitance drop can be suppressed.
    SOLUTION: Since divided metallized electrodes 5a-5c are split in the width direction of a film and the size of the electrode is increased toward a metallized contact joint 4, a capacitor having high safety and long term reliability can be obtained. Furthermore, since the width of fuse parts 6a-6c is widened toward the metallized contact joint 4, the dielectric loss is decreased and heat generation of the capacitor can be suppressed.

    摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallized film capacitor which generates less heat and has a high self-protection capability in use for high voltage and high ripple current. SOLUTION: A single-sided metallized polypropylene film 8 has a pattern consisting of divided electrodes 3 and 4 which are formed of evaporated metal and have either a nearly rhombic shape or triangular shape surrounded by non-evaporated slits 2, and fuse sections 5 which are located in at least one position on each side of each divided electrode to connect the divided electrodes. A single-sided metallized polypropylene film 9 has evaporated metal nearly on the whole surface of one face. The films 8 and 9 are stacked and wound, and sputtered metal electrodes 10 are formed on both end faces of the wound body to form the metallized film capacitor. The fuse sections are formed near the vertices of each rhombus to realize the metallized film capacitor having a small increase in temperature and a high-performance inverter apparatus.
