    摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently obtain an aromatic ketone by reaction of a specific aromatic compound with carbon monoxide and an olefin compound in the presence of a transition metal catalyst to effect direct carbonylation of the carbon- hydrogen bond of the aromatic ring in a site-selective way. SOLUTION: This aromatic ketone of formula IV or formula V, which is useful for e.g. organic industrial products, medicines, is obtained by reaction of an aromatic compound of formula I [R is 2- or 4-pyrimidinyl; R and R are each H, an alkyl, an alkoxy, etc., or may be joined together to form an aromatic ring when they are adjacent to each other; however, H is bound to at least one carbon atom adjacent to the carbon atom bound to R (or R ' shown below)] or formula II [R ' is R (with a substituent on the ring) or 2- pyridyl (with a substituent on the ring); X is O, S, etc.] with carbon monoxide and an olefin compound of formula III (R is H or an alkyl) in the presence of a transition metal catalyst (e.g. a ruthenium compound).

    摘要: PURPOSE: To profitably produce a tetrazole compound by reacting a 2-cyano-4- oxo-4H-benzopyrane compound with an azide compound in an organic solvent, pouring the reaction product in water with stirring, and subsequently distilling off the organic solvent to deposit crystals having large particle diameters. CONSTITUTION: A method for producing a tetrazole compound comprises reacting a nitrile compound of formula I [R is H, a halogen, nitro, OH, a 1-20C alkyl, a 10-20C alkoxy, a group of formula: R CONH (R is phenyl which may be substituted), etc.] (e.g. 2-cyano-4-oxo-4H-benzopyrane) with an azide compound (e.g. sodium azide) in an organic solvent (e.g. N,N- dimethylformaldehyde) in the presence of a catalyst (e.g. ammonium chloride), pouring the reaction mixture containing the obtained tetrazole compound (salt) of formula II together with an organic solvent (e.g. toluene) immiscible with water with stirring, distilling off the organic solvent with stirring to deposite the crystals in water. Thus, the objective tetrazole compound of formula II is profitably obtained.

A compound of formula I is obtained by reaction of 2,4,6- trimethylpyridine of formula II with an aldehyde of the formula: R-CHO in the presence of an organic carboxylic anhydride such as butyric acid anhydride, preferably in a nitrogen atmosphere at a temperature lower than the boiling point of the anhydride.
