摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide wide copper-catalyzed carbon-heteroatom and carbon-carbon bond-forming methods using the inexpensive copper as a catalyst. SOLUTION: In certain embodiments, provided are copper-catalyzed methods of forming a carbon-nitrogen bond between the nitrogen atom of an amide or amine acyl hydrazide moiety and the activated carbon of an aryl, heteroaryl, or vinyl halide or sulfonate. In additional embodiments, provided are copper-catalyzed methods of forming a carbon-nitrogen bond between the nitrogen atom of a nitrogen-containing heteroaromatic, e.g., indole, pyrazole, and indazole, and the activated carbon of an aryl, heteroaryl, or vinyl halide or sulfonate. In certain embodiments, provided are copper-catalyzed methods of forming a carbon-oxygen bond between the oxygen atom of an alcohol and the activated carbon of an aryl, heteroaryl, or vinyl halide or sulfonate. Provided also are copper-catalyzed methods of forming a carbon-carbon bond between a reactant comprising a nucleophilic carbon atom, e.g., an enolate or malonate anion, and the activated carbon of an aryl, heteroaryl, or vinyl halide or sulfonate. 摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a CNT surface modification method for controlling a modification amount at the surface of and in the inside direction of a carbon mesh constituting a CNT and to provide a CNT in which the modification amount is controlled by using a modifying agent which is easy to handle.
SOLUTION: The surface of a carbon nanotube is modified by charging the carbon nanotube and nitric acid into a vessel and keeping the temperature in the vessel at 374.0°C or higher and the pressure in the vessel at 22.1 MPa or higher. The CNT has alcoholic hydroxy groups and ether groups on the outmost surface. In other CNT, a plurality of the carbon meshes from the surface of a multi-wall carbon nanotube, in which the carbon meshes are layered coaxially and in multiple layers, has alcoholic hydroxy groups. In other CNT, a plurality of the carbon meshes from the surface of a multi-wall carbon nanotube, in which the carbon meshes are layered coaxially and in multiple layers, has ether groups.

摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new hydrocarbon compound suitably useful for an organic electroluminescent element having an excellent luminous efficiency and emitting a light with high brightness. SOLUTION: This compound is pref. a 3,3'-bisacenaphtho[1,2-k]fluoranthene derivative of formula I (X1 to X26 are each e.g. H, a halogen, an alkyl, an alkoxy, an alkylthio or an alkenyl), e.g. a compound of formula II. The compound of formula I can be obtained by e.g. reacting an acenaphtho[1,2- k]fluoranthene derivative of formula III (Z1 is a halogen) with an acenaphtho[1,2-k]fluoranthene derivative of formula IV (Z2 is a halogen) in the presence of nickel chloride, triphenylphosphine and zinc, as necessary, in the presence of sodium bromide. An organic electroluminescent element with excellent luminance is provided by sandwiching at least one layer, a pref. a luminescent layer, of at least one kind derivative of formula I between a pair of electrodes.
