Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To yield coating having uniform particle density when a flux component of volatile organic compound (VOC)-free flux is applied on a work to be flux-coated while keeping the particles of the flux component to be prevented from joined and separating the joined particles even if joined. SOLUTION: The flux applying method has: a step of applying ultrasonic wave to a flux liquid; and a step of spraying the flux liquid to which the ultrasonic wave is applied from a spray nozzle to apply the flux liquid on the work to be flux-coated. In the step of applying the ultrasonic wave to the flux liquid, a step of applying the ultrasonic wave to the flux liquid stored in a housing body 30 and a step of fluidizing the flux liquid in the gravity direction in the housing body 30 are integrally or independently carried out. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible zinc/manganese dioxide printed battery with high electromotive force and long battery life, and to provide a manufacturing method therefor.SOLUTION: The printed battery is constructed by layering a cathode which is formed by printing an anode prepared by printing manganese oxide paste and zinc paste, through a separator impregnated with electrolyte. The electrolyte includes phosphoric acid of 2-25wt%.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electrode bumps for use in a semiconductor device coping with high performance and miniaturization. SOLUTION: A method for forming the electrode bumps 7 on electrode pads 2 disposed on a substrate 1 includes steps of: (a) forming a conductive material 5 used as a base material of the electrode bump 7; (b) coating the whole surface of the conductive material 5 with a coating agent 6; and (c) placing the conductive material 5 coated with the coating agent 6, on the electrode pad 2, and then performing heat treatment to the conductive material 5 to form the electrode bump 7 electrically connected to the electrode pad 2.
