    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To yield coating having uniform particle density when a flux component of volatile organic compound (VOC)-free flux is applied on a work to be flux-coated while keeping the particles of the flux component to be prevented from joined and separating the joined particles even if joined. SOLUTION: The flux applying method has: a step of applying ultrasonic wave to a flux liquid; and a step of spraying the flux liquid to which the ultrasonic wave is applied from a spray nozzle to apply the flux liquid on the work to be flux-coated. In the step of applying the ultrasonic wave to the flux liquid, a step of applying the ultrasonic wave to the flux liquid stored in a housing body 30 and a step of fluidizing the flux liquid in the gravity direction in the housing body 30 are integrally or independently carried out.
