摘要： PURPOSE: To obtain a steel sheet useful as a canning material or the like excellent in a rust-preventing property and direct coatability, which can be used for both temper rolling and two-pass cold rolling, by coating said steel sheet with the proper amount of the oily composition consisting of specified substance permitted under FDA.
CONSTITUTION: Among substances permitted as the components of an oily composition under FDA, 10W60wt% a proper one or more of petroleum wax, synthetic wax and lanoline regulated under Paragraph No. 178-3910 of FDA, 5W 40wt% a fatty acid under the same No., 5W30wt% triethanolamine under the same No. and 10W40wt% a mineral oil under the same No. are prepared. In addition, 1W20wt% polyethylene glycol monostearate as a nonionic surfactant or a nonionic surfactant regulated under Paragraph No. 178-3400 of FDA is properly added. An oily composition obtd. by mixing these substances with an aqueous medium and emulsifying them is applied onto a steel sheet by a proper means such as temper rolling or coating.

CONSTITUTION:By a skew rolling mill provided with a disk roller type guide shoe 11, piercing of a seamless steel pipe, thickness reduction, drawing and rolling are executed. In this case, to the surface of the guide shoe 11 for abutting on a rolled stock 10, a seizure preventing agent whoce main components are a water soluble borate compound and a film forming agent is supplied from an injection nozzle 5. While forming a film on the surface of the guide shoe by said seizure preventing agent, the stock is rolled. In such a way, the seamless steel tube having a good quality can be produced with high efficiency.

摘要： PURPOSE:To easily measure the activity concn. of a radical trapper, by quantiting the quantities of the same radical species before and after the forcible oxidation of a specimen to be measured by electron spin resonance (ESR) and obtaining the difference therebetween. CONSTITUTION:Liquid phase autoxidation reaction is radical chain reaction wherein a peroxide radical generated by the oxidation of the hydrocarbon component of oil is percipitated. A radical trapper, for example, an antioxidizer (AO) catches a radical generated during reaction as shown hereinbelow and comes to a radical (AO.) itself. The radical (AO.) generated in said antioxidizer forms a resonance stabilizing state, changes to a separate decomposed substance (AX) or makes chain reaction difficult to generate. In the case of an amine type antioxidizer, NO. achieves large function as an intermediate. This (AO.), especially (NO.) radial is quantitatively measured by ESR and, subsequently, the specimen thereof is forcibly oxidized using an oxidizing agent to again quantity AO., especially NO. and the increase quantity of AO., especially NO. is measured and detected as the activity concn. of the antioxidizer.

CONSTITUTION:The objective oil composition is composed of (A) 10-60wt% of at least one selected from the group consisting of petroleum wax, synthetic wax, and lanolin, which are specified by FDA paragraphs No.178-3910, (B) 5- 40% of fatty acids, (C) 5-30% of triethanolamine and (D) 10-40% of mineral oil, additionally, (E) 1-20% of polyethylene glycol monostearate and/or a nonionic surfactant specified by FDA paragraph No.178-3400. The resultant composition is used after it is emulsified in water containing 0.1-10% of alcohols or glycols.
