Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembly which enables the proportion of a non-welded part to be reduced or laser-transmissible resin members to be laser-welded together. SOLUTION: First, a case 142 of a laser-transmissible thermoplastic resin is molded by inserting a busbar unit 148 of a laser non-transmissible thermoplastic resin, and the case 142 and a housing 140 are laser-welded together. Next, a lid 144 of a laser-transmissible thermoplastic resin is loosely fitted to the surface of the case 142 and a welded surface 290 and a welded surface 292 are irradiated with a laser beam vertically right from above. Thus the welded surface 290 irradiated with the laser beam of a busbar unit main body 162 and the lower surface 184 of a rib, and the welded surface 292 and the part near a pressing surface 160 are melt-mixed and the melt-mixed parts are cured on account of a drop in temperature following the shift of an irradiation spot of the laser beam. Abstract: A metal member and a resin member, or two resin members are welded or bonded to each other at welding or bonding surfaces thereof which are heated by irradiation of a laser beam, thereby providing an assembly wherein the two members are fluid-tightly bonded at the bonding surfaces. The laser beam is transmitted through a laser transmitting resin, and a laser absorbing material which is in contact with the laser transmitting resin is irradiated with the laser beam, so that the laser absorbing material is heated, whereby the laser transmitting resin and the laser absorbing resin are melted owing to the heat. By moving the spot of the laser beam, portions of the resin members to be heated and melted displace, and the resin materials are melted and then solidify. The casing 202 includes an upper part 216 formed of the laser absorbing resin and a lower part 218 formed of the laser transmitting resin. The casing 202 is fixed to a housing 200 formed of the laser absorbing resin, and a contact portion 268 of the upper surface of the housing 200 is irradiated with a laser beam emitted from the laser beam emitting device located outside the casing 202 such that the laser beam is emitted from the upper side of the housing 200 and is obliquely incident on the contact portion 268. The contact portion 268 is irradiated with the laser beam as described above with the location to be irradiated by the laser beam being moved at a constant speed along and throughout the periphery of the casing 202 along walls 206 thereof, whereby the casing 202 and the housing 200 are welded or bonded to each other. The lid 204 formed of the laser transmitting resin is fixed onto the casing 202, and the lid 204 and the casing 202 are welded or bonded to each other by the laser beam emitted from the emitting device located above a contact portion 272 of an upper surface of the casing 202.

Abstract: To weld a filter made of a laser beam-transmittable fiber material to a case made of a laser beam-nontransmittable resin material by a laser beam the filter is first placed on the case; subsequently, the filter is pressurized by a jig to increase the fiber density of a welding portion; and then the welding portion is irradiated by the laser beam. In the step of increasing the fiber density, a periphery of the welding portion is pressurized by the jig to increase the fiber density of the filter in a larger area than the welding portion. Accordingly, the laser beam transmitting through the filter melts a part of the case, and the melted resin material permeates through gaps between the fibers constituting the filter, thereby welding the welding portion to the case.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the energy loss of laser beams when the laser beams are transmitted inside a transmitting resin material and achieve the sufficient welding strength. SOLUTION: A transmitting resin material 1 having laser beams as a heat source and a non-transmitting resin material 2 not having transmittance for the laser beams are overlapped together, and then the laser beams are emitted from the side of the transmitting resin material to heat weld the joining face of the transmitting resin material 1 with the non-transmitting resin material 2 and join integrally both. At that time, the laser beams having the wavelength providing the 26% or more transmittance in the transmitting resin material 1 is used as a heat source. Thus the energy loss of the laser beams transmitted in the transmitting resin material 1 is reduced to generate sufficient heat melting on the joining surface and achieve to obtain the sufficient strength.

SOLUTION: In the resin material welding method by which a transparent resin material 5 which allows transmission of the laser beam 23 is brought into contact with an absorptive resin material 6 which absorbs the laser beam 23 and the transparent resin material 5 and the absorptive resin material 6 are welded together by irradiating them with the laser beam 23 through the transparent resin material 5, a fusion part 7 is formed by thermally fusing a contact area between the transparent resin material 5 and the absorptive resin material 6 through irradiating the materials 5 and 6 with the laser beam 23, and the temperature of the fusion part 7 is detected by a radiation light 31 emitted transmitting through the transparent resin material 5 from the fusion part 7. By this, since the fiber laser shows extremely high parallelism, even when the position to be jointed is fluctuated up and down in the Z-axis due to existing irregularity and level difference on the surface of the resin material, it is possible to continue fabrication without focusing every time. SOLUTION: The method for laser welding is a method wherein an interface where a transmissible resin material consisting of a transmissible resin transmitting to a laser light as a heating source is brought into contact with a non-transmissible resin material consisting of a non-transmissible resin non-transmissible to the laser light is heat-melted and welded from the transmissible resin member side by irradiating it with the laser light.
