PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing hydrogen gas without using any noble metal, specifically a titanium oxide-base metal complex light hydrogen generation catalyst combining titanium oxide that is a solid photocatalyst showing the photosensitization action and a base metal complex compound to be a catalytic site.SOLUTION: The light hydrogen generation catalyst contains the base metal complex and the titanium dioxide.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vitamin B 12 modified polymer, a production method thereof and a dehalogenation catalyst. SOLUTION: The vitamin B 12 modified polymer is a vitamin B 12 modified linear polymer provided by copolymerization of a vitamin B 12 compound whose unsaturated double bond-having part is covalent-bonded and an unsaturated double bond-having compound; and a vitamin B 12 modified polymer containing a vitamin B 12 modified hyperbranched polymer. The vitamin B 12 modified polymer is usable as a catalyst of radical organic synthesis reaction, for example, usable in dehalogenation reaction, carbon-carbon bonding reaction and the like. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vitamin B 12 -photosensitizer modified copolymer, a method of manufacturing the same and a dehalogenation catalyst. SOLUTION: This vitamin B 12 -photosensitizer modified copolymer is obtained by copolymerization of a vitamin B 12 compound in which a structural part having a polymerizable double bond is covalently bonded, a photosensitizer compound in which a structural part having a polymerizable double bond is covalently bonded, and a compound having a polymerizable double bond. This vitamin B 12 -photosensitizer modified copolymer contains a vitamin B 12 -photosensitizer modified straight chain copolymer and a vitamin B 12 -photosensitizer modified hyper-branched copolymer.
