SOLUTION: A dust cover receiving structure for a hydraulic shock absorber 10 has a cover receiver 50 to receive the end surface of the dust cover 30, disposed on an upper surface of the spring seat 21. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body front structure capable of restraining influence of a traction load input to a sub-frame from reaching an arm support part, and capable of transmitting a collision load to a suspension arm member.SOLUTION: A vehicle body front part is provided with a front end cross member 14, a suspension cross member 20, the suspension arm members 35 and 36, and the sub-frames 21 and 22. The rear end of the sub-frames 21 and 22 is connected to the suspension cross member 20 via bracket members 55 and 56, and the bracket members 55 and 56 have a connecting part 70, an extension wall part 73, and a sidewall part 74. The extension wall part 73 is extended outside in the vehicle width direction more than an arm support part 40, and is opposed with a clearance G to a front face of the suspension arm members 35 and 36. The connecting part 70 is connected to the rear end of the sub-frames 21 and 22 in front of the extension wall part 73. The sidewall part 74 is offset in the vehicle width direction to the connecting part 70, and is fixed to the suspension cross member 20.
