    摘要: PURPOSE: To coat a chrome-plated surface with pigmented coating with good resistance to heat and weather, by using a specified compsn. composed of a transparent paing such as a silicone resin varnish contg. a heat-resistant inorg. pigment added thereto.
    CONSTITUTION: 45W63wt% methyl-phenyl silicone resin varnish (methyl:phenyl= 1:0.5W1.5), 45W18wt% methyl-phenyl-silicone resin varnish (methyl:phenyl= 1:0.3W0.4), not more than 9wt% acrylic (or polyester or epoxy)-modified silicone resin varnish, 5wt% xylol, 2wt% butanol and 2wt% butlyl cellosolve as solvents, and 1wt% auxiliaries such as an adhesion promotor and a wetting agent, are blended together to form a transparent paing. Then 1W10wt% heat-resistant inorg. pigment is added to the above transparent paint. The resulting compsn. is coated on a chrome-plated surface and baked at 180°C.
