PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricating oil formulation having excellent wear resistance and low friction coefficient and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The lubricating oil formulation is obtained by dispersing or dissolving an inorganic acid which is solid at ordinary temperature such as phosphorus based inorganic acids such as phosphorous acid, hypophosphorous acid, pyrophosphoric acid, pyrophosphorous acid, polyphosphoric acid, metaphosphoric acid, phosphoric acid and these salts and boron based inorganic acid such as boric acid, borous acid and these salts in a lubricant oil base oil, and adding if necessary at least one kind selected from a compound having a nonpolar group and a polar group and a compound soluble in the base oil and having a nonpolar group and also a weak joint forming ability with an inorganic acid such as an alcohol such as a monohydric alcohol, a monohydric unsaturated alcohol, a polyhydric alcohol or polyphenyl ether, etc. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO

Lubricating oils are described which are useful in two-cycle engines. These oils contain a minor amount of at least one phenolic compound of the general formula (R)a-Ar-(OH)b wherein R is a substantially saturated, hydrocarbon-based group of an average of at least 10 aliphatic carbon atoms; a and b are each independently an integer of one up to three times the number of aromatic nuclei present in Ar with the proviso that the sum of a and b does not exceed the unsatisfied valences of Ar; and Ar is a single ring, a fused ring or a linked polynuclear moiety having 0 to 3 optional substituents consisting of lower alkyl, lower alkoxyl, methylol or lower hydrocarbon-based substituted methylol, halo and combinations of two or more of said optional substituents.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricating oil composition exhibiting an extremely low coefficient of friction when used as a lubrication oil for a low friction sliding material, and to provide a sliding mechanism with an excellent low-friction property by using the lubricating oil composition in combination with a sliding member having a coating of a specific low friction sliding material on its sliding surface.SOLUTION: A lubricating oil composition used for a low friction sliding material includes, with respect to the total amount of the composition in a lubricating oil base oil, (A) 0.005-0.12 mass% organic zinc dithiophosphate in phosphorus equivalent, (B) 0.05-5.0 mass% amide-based friction reducing agent, and (C) 0.05-0.5 mass% alkaline-earth metalsalicylate-baed cleaning agent and/or alkaline-earth metalsulfonate-based cleaning agent in alkaline-earth metal equivalent. A sliding mechanism includes the lubricating oil composition intervening between sliding surfaces of two sliding members sliding with respect to each other, wherein the sliding surface of at least one of the two sliding members has a DLC coating containing 5-50 atom% hydrogen formed thereon.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a lubricant composition for industrial and automobile uses which has an excellent rust preventive ability, renders a low friction and has highly energy-saving properties. SOLUTION: The lubricant composition is obtained by adding an aspartic acid derivative, an aliphatic amine compound and/or an aliphatic amide compound to a base oil such as a highly refined oil and a synthetic oil and suitably used as an industrial oil such as a working oil for a hydraulic equipment and a lubrication oil for automobiles. The aliphatic amine compound may be a primary amine, secondary amine, tertiary amine and diamine. The aliphatic amide compound may be a primary amide, secondary amide and amide of a polyamine. 본 발명은 방식성, 세척 및/또는 성형 윤활제로서의 금속 스트립에 대한 도포를 위한 저온 세척될 수 있는 윤활제 조성물 및 이의 용도를 제공한다. 조성물은, 각각의 경우에 상기 조성물의 전체 중량을 기준으로, 50 내지 90 중량%의 기본 유체, 3 내지 15 중량%의 설포네이트계 부식 저해제, 1 내지 20 중량%의 에스테르 성분, 고압성/내마모성 첨가제로서의 0.5 내지 3 중량%의 인 공급원 성분 또는 1 내지 10 중량%의 황 공급원 성분, 1 내지 15 중량%의 유화제, 0.05 내지 1 중량%의 카복실산 성분, 0.05 내지 1 중량%의 아민 및/또는 페놀 항산화제, 0.5 내지 5 중량%의 왁스 및/또는 점증제 성분이다. 저온 세척될 수 있는 건조 윤활제 조성물이 추가로 개시되어 있다.

A grease composition having a base oil and a thickener, which grease additionally has from 0.05% to 30% by weight of sodium thiosulphate and at least 0.1% by weight of one or more additives selected from the group of: calcium salicylate, magnesium salicylate, calcium phenate, and calcium sulphonate, based on the total grease composition, and use of the grease composition to improve rust prevention and abrasion resistance. The invention also relates to a method for preparing the grease composition.
