Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thrust sliding bearing constituted of a synthetic resin capable of maintaining low friction properties for a long time, capable of preventing a stick-slip phenomenon in sliding, and capable of preventing abnormal friction sound caused by the stick-slip phenomenon. SOLUTION: A thrust sliding bearing 1 constituted of a synthetic resin includes a silicone grease interposed at the sliding interface between the upper side of a lower annular plate part 202 which defines the bottom of a lower annular recess 204 and the lower side of a thrust bearing piece 300 which is in sliding contact with the upper side and the lower side of an upper annular plate part 102, and at the sliding interface between the lower side of the upper part and the upper side of the thrust bearing piece. The silicone grease comprises: a base oil which is a silicone oil and has a dynamic viscosity at 25 DEG C of 100-500,000 cSt; and a thickener which has been added thereto so that the mixture has a consistency of 200-400. Abstract: Silicone grease compositions are prepared by blending a thickening agent with a liquified crosslinked organosiloxane gel produced using a platinum-catalyzed hydrosilylation reaction. The gel is liquified by application of a shearing force to the crosslinked gel. The shearing force can be applied prior to and/or during blending of the gel with the thickener.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for lubricating high temperature metals that can make the degree of corrosion on a metal surface lower than in the case of using regular lubricating methods. SOLUTION: The method comprises bringing a metal surface into contact with an amorphous liquid hydrofluorocarbon co-telomer containing 30-65% of a monomer unit derived from hexafluoropropylene and having H:F molar ratio of 0.05:1. The viscosity of the liquid hydrofluorocarbon at 40°C is in a range of 1-10,000 cSt. Furthermore, a thickening agent comprising a fine powder of polytetrafluoroethylene, silica, molybdenum disulfide or graphite is blended together. Abstract: Crystalline aluminates of the formula: I. (LiAx)y.2Al(OH)3.nH2O II. Li(R)v_r.2Al(OH)3.nH2O, or III. Abstract: The present invention provides a grease composition which is excellent in peel resistance, not to mention lubricity, as compared with the prior art products. A novel grease composition for rolling bearing is provided, comprising a base oil, an extender, an inorganic compound-based filler having an average particle diameter of not more than 2 mum and zinc dithiocarbamate.
