PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector which can decrease its height.SOLUTION: A connector comprises two kinds of contacts 5 having different effective fitting lengths from each other, a housing 3 in which the contacts 5 are housed, an insertion port 4 which is arranged at a front side of the housing 3 and defined by a lower wall 32, an upper wall 33, and side walls 34 of the housing 3, and to which a flat cable 2 is inserted, and a lever 6 which is arranged at a rear side of the housing 3 and has a cam part 61 that presses and welds the contact 5 with the flat cable 2 with a rotational operation to make conductive connection between them. In the housing 3, positions of a placement surface S1 of the contact 5 and a contact surface S2 of the cam part 61 are approximately at the same height.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit connecting bus line having changeable corresponding pin positions. SOLUTION: A first bus line 1, a second bus line 2, a component disposal region 3, and a stacking region 4 are mainly included. The component disposal region 3 includes a first side edge and a second side edge. The first side edge and the connecting side edge of the first bus line 1 are interconnected. The signal transmission line of the component disposal region 3 and the corresponding signal transmission line of the first bus line 1 are inter-communicable. The inner side edge of the stacking region 4 connects with the second side edge of the component disposal region 3, and bendable lines L1 and L2 are formed therebetween. The outer side edge is interconnected with the connecting side edge of the second bus line 2, and a bendable line L3 is formed therebetween. The signal transmission line of the stacking region 4 and the corresponding signal transmission lines of the second bus line 2 and the component disposal region 3 are inter-communicable. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector not only having contact reliability capable of surely electrically connecting a flexible printed circuit board having dispersion in thickness but also having versatility capable of electrically connecting even a flexible printed circuit board having distinct thickness. SOLUTION: In this connector, wide parts 35 of connection terminals 30 fixed to a base 10 are lifted by an operation lever 40 with rotating shaft parts 45, 45 projected on the same axis from end faces on both its sides rotatably supported to the base 10. In particular, a pair of support fittings 50 and 60 respectively mounted to end faces on both sides of the base 10 are provided with vertically extending shaft-bearing slots 53 and 63, respectively. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector by which a stable connection is attained without being slantingly interposed when a contact is interposed into a housing. SOLUTION: An engaging/fixing portion 44 is provided at such the position of the housing 12 as corresponding to the connecting portion 24 of the contact 14, then an oblique recessed portion 42 which engages with the engaging/fixing portion 44 is provided at the connecting portion 24 of the contact 14. When the contact 14 is interposed into the housing 12, a contacting portion 22 of the contact 14 is brought into contact with the upper wall of the insert hole 38 of the housing 12, but the contacting portion 22 is interposed so that it may return to a parallel state with the insert hole 38 by the engaging/fitting portion 44 being guided by the oblique recessed portion 42.
