    摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alkali metal dithiocarbamate useful as a rubber vulcanization accelerator, an intermediate therefor, or the like.
    SOLUTION: In producing an alkali metal dithiocarbamate by reacting an amine with carbon disulfide and an alkali hydroxide in water, the dithiocarbamate is produced by adding 0.5 to 20 pts. wt. inorganic carbonate and/or inorganic hydrogencarbonate (e.g., sodium carbonate and sodium hydrogencarbonate) per 100 pts. wt. alkali hydroxide. According to the method, it is possible to easily produce an aqueous solution of the dithiocarbamate used as a rubber vulcanization accelerator, an industrial bactericide, or an intermediate therefor without detriment to its commercial value.

Selenium ion is separated and removed from an aqueous solution containing selenium ion by bringing the solution into contact with a solution containing an organic solvent and the dithiocarbamate compound or a porous resin carrying the dithiocarbamate compound.
