Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil-based lubricant for warm-hot forging which can prevent a lubricant residue from sticking or depositing on a mold and can perform a stable continuous forging free of maintenance. SOLUTION: The oil-based lubricant for warm-hot forging comprises a base oil and as a drier for accelerating the oxidation decomposition of an oil content remaining in a mold, an organic metal compound of at least one kind of metal selected from cobalt, manganese, zinc, copper, iron, tin, nickel, cerium and potassium by 1 to 30 wt.%, and preferably further containing a detergent dispersant by 0.1 to 1.0 times in a weight ratio to the drier. If necessary, a solid lubricant such as graphite and molybdenum disulfide, an organic compound of a low melting point metal bismuth, a thickener or the like may be added to improve the lubricant performance or adhesion performance to a mold. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-soluble cutting oil composition exhibiting excellent lubricity, cutting performance, foam suppressing property and cooling property. SOLUTION: The water-soluble cutting oil composition for semidry cutting work contains (A) 10-85 mass% nonionic surfactant having propylene oxide group added to the terminal and expressed by general formula (1); R-O-(XO) a -(PO) b -H (R is an 8-22C alkyl, an alkenyl or an alkyl-substituted aryl; (XO) a is a group having a blockcopolymer structure or random copolymer structure composed of ethylene oxide and at least one group selected from propylene oxide, butylene oxide and phenylethylene oxide or a homopolymer structure of ethylene oxide; a is an integer of 1-39; (PO) b is a group having a homopolymer structure of propylene oxide; and b is an integer of 1-39), (B) 10-85 mass% lubricant base oil composed of one or more oils selected from mineral oil, oil-and-fat and synthetic oil and (C) 5-50 mass% carboxylic acid salt. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a durable linear motion device, in which indentations and peeling are prevented from being caused on the ball surface and the raceway surface, even used under conditions of a high contact pressure. SOLUTION: The linear motion device comprises a linear motion body, which is fitted on the outside of a shaft and makes a linear movement relatively along the shaft, a plurality of balls, which are held in rolling-element grooves formed in the inside of the linear motion body, and roll along between the rolling-element grooves and the shaft, separators placed between the balls, and a circuit for the balls to circulate from one end to the other of the grooves. The device has a sealed grease containing a base oil having a worked penetration in the range of 220-395 defined under JIS K2220, and 50-500 mm 2 /s of kinematic viscosity at 40°C. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallic wire having a film which does not contain phosphorus and is excellent in the lubricity and seizure resistance equivalent to or better than those of a phosphate composite film and a method of manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The metallic wire has the film consisting of a first layer which contains potassium silicate and a second layer which contains 10 to 15% sodium stearate, 10 to 15% calcium stearate and 10 to 15% barium stearate and further contains at least one of 3 to 10% fluororesin and 3 to 10% molybdenum disulfide and consists of the balance substantially calcium hydroxide. The metallic wire is manufactured by applying an aqueous solution containing the potassium silicate to a base material, then subjecting the base material to cold drawing by using a powdery lubricant containing the sodium stearate, the calcium stearate and the barium stearate, Further, containing at least one of the fluororesin and the molybdenum disulfide and consisting of the balance substantially the calcium hydroxide.
