Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a fusible element which includes a fusible part comprising low melting point metal and resistant wires connected to the both ends of the fusible part, suitable both for low-volume production and high-volume production, less in variations in production while an assembly work thereof can be simplified, and capable of improving quality; and a method for producing a fusible element.SOLUTION: In a fusible element, one end of each of resistant wires is inserted and held in one of cylindrical parts of an auxiliary member having the cylindrical parts at both ends thereof via a central bridge portion, and low melting point metal is cast from the bridge portion to the cylindrical parts.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chip type fuse having both of the pulse resistance and stability of the fusing position. SOLUTION: The chip type fuse is provided with an insulating board; a pair of end electrodes formed at both ends of the insulating board; and a belt-like fuse portion 13 having both ends connected to the pair of end electrodes formed on the upper surface of the insulating board, wherein the fuse portion 13 has at least one bent portion 18a in its middle part, an outer flange of the bent portion 18a is formed into the rectangular shape in at least its one part and an inner flange of the bent portion 18a is formed into the arc shape at least its one part. Thus, both of resistance vale and temperature are reduced in comparison with the case that both of the outer and inner flanges of the bent portion 18a are formed into the rectangular shape or the arc shape. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain different types of bus bar easily and inexpensively. SOLUTION: One and the other planar bus bar bodies 2 are provided with joints 10, 12, 16, 19, 21, respectively, a fusible part 5 and connecting parts 24-26 are provided at the intermediate part of the bus bar body, and a first bus bar 23 is formed by coupling the one and the other bus bar bodies through the fusible part and connecting parts. A second bus bar is formed by cutting off the connecting parts 24-26 and coupling the one and the other bus bar bodies 2 only through the fusible part 5. Alternatively, the fusible part 5 is not formed and the intermediate part of the bus bar body 2 may be used without the fusible part. The connecting parts 24 and 25 are formed on the opposite sides of the fusible part 5 and the connecting parts 25 and 26 are formed on the opposite sides of the bus bar body 2. An electric connection box having that bus bar structure is employed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect a post-fixing fuse with a bus bar simply and surely. SOLUTION: One or the other of bus bars 22 is provided with connecting parts 38-42, and a plate part 27 on the intermediate side of the bus bar 22 is provided with a cut 28 and a fusible part 25 traversing the cut. On the opposite sides of the cut 28, the plate part 27 is provided with a pair of hole parts 30 for fixing a post-fixing fuse and then the post-fixing fuse 4 is screwed into the hole part 30 and connected. The post-fixing fuse 4 has hole parts 35 arranged at the same pitch as that of the pair of hole parts 30. A second bus bar 23 is secured to one or the other of the bus bars 22 through an insulating part 45. In the electric connection box 1 provided with the fuse connection structure of bus bar on the inside of a connection box body 2, an opening 20 is formed in the connection box body 2 oppositely to the central plate part 27 and sealed with a covering plate 24 projecting from the cover 6. A guide wall 13 for holding a tightening nut 14 is provided in the connection box body 2. The hole part 30 is also used for fixing a wire 54 provided with a terminal for external connection.
