    SOLUTION: The chip type fuse is provided with an insulating board; a pair of end electrodes formed at both ends of the insulating board; and a belt-like fuse portion 13 having both ends connected to the pair of end electrodes formed on the upper surface of the insulating board, wherein the fuse portion 13 has at least one bent portion 18a in its middle part, an outer flange of the bent portion 18a is formed into the rectangular shape in at least its one part and an inner flange of the bent portion 18a is formed into the arc shape at least its one part. Thus, both of resistance vale and temperature are reduced in comparison with the case that both of the outer and inner flanges of the bent portion 18a are formed into the rectangular shape or the arc shape.
