Abstract: PURPOSE: An inorganic molding member for wavelength conversion, a manufacturing method thereof, and a light emitting device improve wavelength conversion efficiency by the scattering of light with pores installed inside. CONSTITUTION: An inorganic particle layer (3) is formed on the top and side of a substrate (2). The top and side surfaces of the substrate function as reflective surfaces reflecting light irradiated from the top or side direction. The inorganic particle layer has particles including inorganic wavelength conversion materials absorbing light of a first wavelength and emitting light of a second wavelength. The inorganic particle layer includes an inorganic phosphor (31), a cover layer (32), and a pore (33) formed therein. The cover layer includes inorganic materials continuously covering the surfaces of the substrate and the particles.
