    摘要： PURPOSE: A system and a method for controlling a shut-off valve of a CNG(Compressed Natural Gas) fuel tank in a vehicle are provided to reduce power consumption as a small amount of valve solenoids is operated, and fuel is equally distributed to the fuel tank during the refueling event. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling a shut-off valve of a CNG(Compressed Natural Gas) fuel tank in a vehicle(10) comprises following steps. The (N-M)th shut-off valves among N-th shut-off valves are closed if the N-th shut-off valves of the N-th CNG fuel tanks are opened for the first pre-determined period and an enable condition is satisfied. Whether or not the M-th CNG fuel tanks supply the predetermined quantity of fuel is determined on the basis of a fuel parameter. The N-th shut-off valves are opened for the first predetermined period when the M-th fuel tanks supply the predetermined quantity of the fuel.
