    摘要: A method for ordered fault clearance visualization in a computer controlled print production device includes receiving data from the print production device operational sensors indicating a possible fault event. Fault analysis is performed to determine whether faults have occurred and to identify the location and type for each fault, based on the data and fault definitions. Identified faults are prioritized, with each fault assigned a unique priority and the order in which the faults are to be cleared is developed. A visualization of the print production device is presented on the graphical user interface, with graphical cues superimposed upon the visualization of the print production device to indicate the fault order, such that a single view presents all identified faults in the system and the fault order in which they should be cleared. The visualization is updated as each said fault is cleared until a no fault state is achieved.

A fault screen window is provided that depicts faults for individual supply unit devices and output unit devices which can be opened by selecting the fault button and/or fault icon. A fault notes window is also provided for user editable text linked to the fault screen window. The fault notes window displays only user editable text related to a selected device or displays only user editable text related to the system when no device is selected. A fault notes icon is configured to appear when user editable text has previously been entered on said fault notes window.

    摘要: A fault clearance system and method for a graphical user interface. The system includes a plurality of video objects, each video object corresponding to a respective fault of a reprographic or printing system. Each video object further includes a plurality of video segments corresponding to fault clearance steps. Similarly, a plurality of text objects correspond to respective faults of the reprographic or printing system, and each text object further includes a plurality of text steps, one corresponding to each video segment of the respective video object. A bi-directional linkage system links each of the video segments to one of the text steps and each of the text steps is linked to one of the video segments. A video window displays the video segments, and a text window displays one or more of the text steps of a selected text object. The video window displays a video segment linked to a highlighted text step in the text window and the highlighted text step in the text window is linked to the video segment in the video window.

    摘要: Alignment system and method for use by pipefitters. A portable hand tool having the appearances of a flashlight and the capability of projecting a collimated, coherent or otherwise directed, highly focused and narrow light beam is provided a coupling device on the end opposite the light emanation end, swivel capability about its elongate axis and bubble-type level devices. A targeting subsystem, for use with the light emanating tool, completes the alignment system. A portion of the targeting subsystem uses a vertically adjustable stand having a bracket useful both for alignment of piping and/or pipe supports, as well as for securing target placards. The target placards are indexed referencing elements that are capturable by the stand bracket or otherwise suspendable pipe straps and brackets (supports). The system lends itself to highly diverse forms of application, in a host of piping and plumbing system installations, and is readily manipulable by a single person.
