    Abstract: A system for predicting and preventing car accidents and collisions between vehicles and pedestrians, which comprises a plurality of mobile devices each carried by a pedestrian user or a user riding in a vehicle; a dedicated software application installed on each of the mobile devices adapted to detect the location of the mobile device; one or more geographic servers, each geographic server assigned to a geographic territory and adapted to communicate position and motion information with mobile devices in its geographic territory; and a bridge module adapted to register and sign-in users to the system, and establish and maintain a connection between mobile devices and geographic servers. The geographic server of each territory receives ongoing position and motion updates from all of the mobile devices in its territory and transmits ongoing position and motion updates associated with position and motion of other mobile devices to mobile devices in its territory. The software application is adapted to receive and process updates associated with position and motion of other mobile devices from the geographic server, calculate a collision probability (that may be calculated for a danger domain in the surrounding of the user), and accordingly issue a collision alert to mobile users who are of high probability of collision.

    Abstract: A system and method of stereoscopic image processing by at least one processor may include receiving, from a first imaging device, having a first field of view (FOV), and located at a first, initially unknown position, a first image of a scene; receiving, from a second imaging device, having a second, different FOV, and located at a second, initially unknown position, a second image of the scene; calculating a plurality of flow lines in the first image, wherein each flow line represents an optical flow between a pixel of the first image and a corresponding pixel of the second image; and calibrating the imaging devices by determining at least one parameter of relative position between the first imaging device and second imaging device, based on the calculated flow lines.

    Abstract: A multi-spectral vehicular system for providing pre-collision alerts, comprising two pairs of stereoscopic infrared (IR) and visible light (VL) sensors, each of which providing acquired image streams from a mutual field of view, which are synchronized to provide stereoscopic vision; a data fusion module for mutually processing the data streams, to detect objects within the field of view and calculating distances to detected objects; a cellular based communication module for allowing communication between the sensors and mobile phones/Infotainment systems of the vehicle. The module runs a dedicated background application that is adapted to monitor the vicinity of the vehicle to detect other vehicles having a similar system; calculate speed and heading azimuth of each of the other vehicles; and provide alerts to the driver of the vehicle whenever other vehicles having a similar system are in a path of collision with the vehicle, based on the calculation and on the speed of the vehicle.

    Abstract: A method and system for of relative pose estimation between two or more sensors is disclosed. The system and method may include receiving a time frame, determine expected change in relative pose of at least two of the sensors, within the time frame and expected relations between angular directions of at least two of the sensors, calculating, by a processor, for each sensor a pose shift, calculating for each sensor the sensor's angular directions within the time frame, comparing relations between different sensors' angular directions, at each point in time, based on the expected relations between angular directions to determine a common direction of the two or more sensors, comparing common directions of the two or more sensors between different points in time based on the expected change in relative pose, and estimating the relative pose between the two or more sensors based on the comparison.
