    摘要: A subscriber server routes a terminating call in a network that includes a circuit switched (CS) network, a packet switched (PS) network, and an IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS). The server receives a request for routing information in relation to the terminating call from a CS node in the CS network. A determination is made at server based on whether a UE associated with the terminating call is registered in the IMS and the UE has access to the PS network. The server instructs the CS node to route the terminating call in the CS network when the UE is not registered in the IMS or when the UE does not have access to the PS network. The server instructs the CS node to send the terminating call to the IMS for handling when the UE is registered in the IMS and when the UE has access to the PS network.

    摘要: A system, method, and nodes for managing shared security keys between a User Equipment, UE, an authentication node such as an SCF/NAF, and a service node such as a BM-SC or AS. The SCF/NAF allocates to each BM-SC, a different SCF/NAF identifier such as a fully qualified domain name, FQDN, from the FQDN space the SCF/NAF administers. The SCF/NAF then locally associates these allocated FQDNs with the connected BM-SCs and with different services. The network sends the correct FQDN to the UE in a service description for a desired service, and the UE is able to derive a security key using the FQDN. When the UE requests the desired service, the SCF/NAF is able to associate the service identifier with the correct FQDN and an associated BM-SC. The SCF/NAF uses the FQDN to obtain the security key from a bootstrapping server and sends it to the associated BM-SC. As a result, the UE and the associated BM-SC share a specific security key.

    摘要: An emergency access transfer function (EATF) node is described for use when hand over of a user equipment (UE) from a first to a second access network is performed during an emergency call session (ECS). The EATF node receives a request for transferring the ECS from the first access network to the second access network. The EATF node transfers the ECS of the UE from the first to the second access network when the ECS is known to the EATF node. The EATF node selects a second EATF node from a set of one or more EATF nodes when the ECS is unknown, and forwards the request for transferring the ECS to the second EATF node. The EATF node may be in a first network region and the second EATF node may be in the first or a second network region.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for maintaining service continuity for User Equipment accessing an IP Multimedia Subsystem communication network. A routing identifier is established that identifies a Service Centralization and Continuity Application Server allocated to the User Equipment. The routing identifier is sent to the User Equipment. In the event of disruption to the service between the User Equipment and the Service Centralization and Continuity Application Server, a handover message is sent from the User Equipment via a Circuit Switched access network. The handover message includes the routing identifier, and is then forwarded to the identified Service Centralization and Continuity Application Server. This allows the same Service Centralization and Continuity Application Server to be used after the handover as was used before the handover, thereby providing service continuity.

    摘要: A method is provided of handing over a priority call with Single Radio Voice Call Continuity, SRVCC. The priority call is handed over from a User Equipment, UE, accessing an IP Multimedia Subsystem, IMS, network via a Circuit Switched, CS, access network to a target Packet Switched, PS, access network thereby establishing a priority IMS session. The priority call has a specified CS priority level. The method includes sending a handover request from the CS access network towards the PS access network and the IMS network to transfer the priority call. A PS priority level for the session in the PS network is determined based on the specified CS priority level. Bearer resources for the IMS session are allocated. The bearer resources are based, at least in part, on the PS priority level. The call is transferred to the IMS session over the PS access network.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for allowing a terminal to attach to an access network. The terminal determines that the access network does not support a subscriber identifier used by the terminal, and so it attaches to the access network using an IMSI, the IMSI having been pre-provisioned at the terminal. The terminal, once attached, sends a request for a roaming IMSI to a remote node in the subscriber's home network. It then receives a roaming IMSI from the remote, the roaming IMSI being associated with the subscription and related subscriber identifier. The terminal detaches from the access network and then re-attaches to the access network using the roaming IMSI.

    摘要: A method is provided of performing a handover with SRVCC to a target PS access network of an emergency call to a PSAP from a UE accessing a CS access network. The method includes sending a handover request from the CS access network towards an IMS network to transfer the emergency call. A CS to PS emergency handover command is sent to the UE, including an emergency STN identifying an access transfer control function. The UE sends a SIP INVITE to establish an emergency IMS session over the PS access network. The SIP INVITE includes the emergency STN so that the INVITE is routed to the access transfer control function. The emergency call sent over the CS access network with the emergency IMS session are correlated and the emergency call is switched to the emergency IMS session over the PS access network to complete the handover.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for establishing a communication session in an IMS Centralized Services communication network. A Service Centralization and Continuity Application Server (SCC AS) receives a request from an originating device to establish a session with a target device. The request includes a plurality of codec identifiers that could be used by the originating device. The SCC AS sends a second request to establish the session to the target device. The SCC AS subsequently receives, from an intermediate node between the SCC AS and the target device, an invite message. The invite message includes an indication that a codec identifier has been selected from the plurality of codec identifiers. The SCC AS then sends a message to the intermediate node instructing the intermediate node to establish the session.
