摘要: An apparatus for mounting and securing medical/surgical devices may be attached to a litter 40. The medical/surgical devices may include, for example, IV holders 186, aspirators 144, cardiac monitors 148, defibrillators 150, infusion pumps 152, ventilators 146 and other devices. The apparatus frame assembly 10 includes rails 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 46, 48, 50, 52 having cross-sections of standard surgical rails, for attachment of slidable rail clamps 84, 104. Medical device mounts 108, 110, 112 are attached to the slidable rail clamps. The medical device mounts have height and/or rotational adjustment to improve patient access and view. The apparatus may be mounted longitudinally anywhere along the litter to maximize access to the patient.

摘要: Various embodiments relate to network capabilities. Devices of a network can have different capabilities. The network can provide artificial intelligence (AI) enabled, machine learning (ML) enabled, deep learning (DL) enabled networked access to these capabilities. The capabilities can share a common AI/ML/DL-enabled open layer-based net-centric logical protocol architecture. Also, different features can be achieved through different layers. As an example, AI enabled access can be achieved through the application layer, ML enabled access and DL enabled access can be achieved through the presentation layer and the session layer, and network access is achieved through the transport layer, the network layer, the link layer, and the physical layer.

摘要: An embodiment of the invention provides a method of estimating a body temperature of an individual where physiological data is received from at least one sensor 510. Environmental data is received and the physiological data and the environmental data are input into a model. The model generates an estimated body temperature and an estimated physiological condition based on the physiological data and the environmental data. A processor 520 compares the estimated physiological condition to a measured physiological condition in the physiological data. A controller 530 modifies at least one parameter in the model when the difference between the estimated physiological condition and the measured physiological condition is above a threshold.

摘要: Disclosed herein are multi-layer structures comprising a first composite layer disposed over a second composite layer, wherein the first composite layer contains a first active material dispersed in a first polymer containing an elastomeric polymer and the second composite layer contains a second polymer which may have a second active material dispersed therein, wherein the first active material chemically or physically interacts with at least one toxic chemical and is selected from the group consisting of metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), metal oxides, metal hydroxides, zeolites, and combinations thereof, and wherein the active material and the second active material (if present) are the same as or different from each other, and the first polymer and second polymer are the same as or different from each other, subject to the proviso that the first composite layer and the second composite layer compositionally differ from each other in at least one respect.

摘要: Various embodiments are described that relate an electrical current connector. The electrical current connector can be configured to provide electrical current when pressure is applied to a prong set. This pressure can cause a contact to engage with a connector. This can complete a circuit that allows the electrical current to flow. The connector can be coupled to a cable that can be configured to transfer data along with the electrical current. The cable can have an inner portion that transfers the data while an outer portion that surrounds the inner portion transfers the current.

摘要: One example embodiment is an armored vehicle door quick-release mechanism includes a handle, a slide lock latch, and an actuator mechanism. The handle is coupled to the slide lock latch. The movement of the handle in a first direction causes the slide lock latch to move in a first direction to a first position so that the slide lock latch is adapted to attach the vehicle door to the actuator mechanism adapted to open and close the vehicle door. A movement of the handle in a second direction causes that slide lock latch to move in a second direction to a second position to detach the vehicle door from the actuator mechanism.

摘要: A system and method using a biomathetical model in conjunction with an optimization method for an individuals alertness impairment at a future time based on a known sleep schedule by adjusting the intake of caffeine over that schedule. In a further embodiment, placing constraints on the frequency, the dose amount, and/or total amount consumed over the course of the future schedule. In a further embodiment, optimizing the sleep schedule (prior to or independent of caffeine optimization) to decrease the individuals alertness impairment at the future time(s). In a further embodiment, adjust both the sleep schedule and caffeine intake to decrease the individuals alertness impairment at the future time(s). In at least one embodiment, the system including a mobile based system and/or a networked computer-based system.
