The method can also include mechanically coupling a bottom coupling feature of a multiple connection bushing to the first tubing. The method can also include mechanically coupling a third tubing to a second top coupling feature of the multiple connection bushing, where the third tubing has an inner diameter that is greater than an outer diameter of the second tubing. The method can further include inserting the multiple connection bushing, the second tubing and the third tubing into the wellbore. The method can also include adjusting the pressure within a space between the second tubing, the third tubing, and the multiple connection bushing.

    摘要: In an optical data transmission system, one channel is removed from a group of wavelength division multiplexed optical channels and another channel carrying different information at the same wavelength is inserted in its place. The process occurs by adding an optical signal whose electric field is the difference between the electric field of the new and old channels. The difference calculation takes into account the phase of the incoming WDM channel and phase of the laser source of the difference signal. The method has applications in optical transmission networks as add-drop nodes and optical regenerators, for generation of high bandwidth optical signals, and for secret optical communications.

    摘要: A legume sheller having both an air separator and a sieve separator for removal of residual chaff or trash. Airflow through a screen carries legumes and trash upward, wherein most of the lighter trash is carried farther up the separator and over into a trash retainer. The legumes, and some residual larger pieces of trash, fall over a weir onto a sieve. The sieve has holes therein that permit the legumes to pass through into a collector. Slidable plates adjust the hole dimension. A vibrating table facilitates movement across the downward sloping sieve surface. Baffles prevent the legumes from rolling too quickly across the sieve. The sheller is equipped with a reversing conveyor that carries trash to a bag.

An address converter and a control signal converter are coupled to an address decoder and control logic, respectively.     摘要: An ocean wave energy converter (WEC) utilizes the relative motion between permanent magnet and induction coil assemblies to generate electricity. The permanent magnet assemblies and induction coil assemblies are separately housed in watertight enclosures, enabling a wide range of wave energy converter configurations, nearly unlimited stroke and obviating the need for a common magnet/coil enclosure with seals. The magnet assemblies are constructed with surface or buried magnets. The wave motion moves a magnet assembly relative to a stationary coil assembly, or vice versa. Either the magnet assembly or the induction coil assembly are made long enough to provide the generation of electricity over a desired operational range of travel. Various means are provided to maintain the spacing (“gap”) between the magnetic and coil assemblies relatively constant.
