    摘要： An electronic apparatus comprising a plurality of loads, which are separately driven by a plurality of batteries, further comprises a switching device which automatically changes a system of connection between the batteries and the loads in accordance with the conditions of the electronic apparatus. Such conditions of the electronic apparatus include the remaining capacities of the batteries, load changes in the loads, and temperature changes in the electronic apparatus. An electronic apparatus provided with a system clock generating device and a peak load device comprises a system clock controller which suspends the supply of a system clock or divides the system clock while a peak voltage is being generated. A drive controller changes the connection between the first and second batteries in accordance with detected remaining capacities of the first and second batteries.

    摘要： A control system suitable for control of an image forming apparatus such as a copying machine having a plurality of objects to be controlled. This system comprises a plurality of control units to individually and independently control those objects to be controlled, a monitor control unit to monitor those control units, and a system bus which is commonly connected to the control units and monitor control unit. The control units time-sharingly and cyclically execute their control operations by time-sharingly occupying the system bus one by one. The monitor control unit operates in parallel with the control units. The control units and monitor control unit are formed on the same semiconductor substrate consisting of, for example, Si or GaAs. The system bus may be a LAN bus or an optical fiber. With this control system, each control unit can execute its own control operation irrespective of an interruption request, so that the processing program procedure is simplified and a reliability of control is also improved.

    摘要： A pointed-position detecting apparatus where image output unit visually displays an image, and image input unit inputs the displayed visible image. The input visible image is stored into memory as an original image. The visible image is partially changed by using a manipulation device such as a laser pointer or a pointing rod, and the visible image with the partially-changed area is inputted from the image input unit. Controller extract the changed image area from the input visible image, and detects a pointed position based on the changed image area. Thus, the phenomenon where a user's action with respect to a displayed image is reflected as a change in the image is utilized to detect coordinates and motion at the image area as the object of change.
