Abstract:
A tape type binding apparatus includes a cutter portion formed in a U-shape inside which a paper staple is held, a paper table formed with a drawing hole through which cutter blades of the cutter portion can be inserted, a pair of pressing members arranged on respective sides of the drawing hole, and a pressing piece arranged below the center of the drawing hole. The cutter blades and leg portions of the paper staple penetrate a stack of sheets placed on the paper table by moving down the cutter portion, the pair of pressing members folds the leg portions of the paper staple to inner sides by moving toward the center of the drawing hole through rectangular holes formed on respective cutter blades, and the pressing piece presses and bonds the folded leg portions by relatively moving up with respect to the paper table.
Abstract:
The micro mirror unit includes a substrate, on which are provided a micro mirror reflecting light, a torsion bar supporting the micro mirror, a frame rotatably supporting the torsion bar, and a deformative supporting part which deforms itself to lift the frame away from the substrate and supports the frame in such a lifted condition. This arrangement makes it possible to realize an increased space between the micro mirror and the substrate, thereby realizing an enlarged mirror tilt angel, without increasing the thickness of the sacrifice layer.
Abstract:
A device for amplifying the suction noise of a vehicle is disclosed. The device comprises an intake duct, a connecting pipe and a composite membrane. The intake duct is for feeding air to an engine intake port. A connecting pipe is connected to an interior of the intake duct. The composite membrane is positioned within the connecting pipe. The composite member blocks an interior passage formed in the connecting pipe. The composite member further includes at least two elastic membranes with one of masses and rigidities that different from each other. A method is also disclosed.
Abstract:
A housing 20 is equipped for supporting, from a side, a platform of a wavelength selection device comprising an input/output port 10, a collimator 11, an expanding optical system 12, a spectroscopic element, a collecting optical system 14 and a micro electro mechanical system (MEMS) mirror array 15. Because the above noted optical member is supported from the side only, influences of a thermal expansion is limited to the height direction of the optical member and the optical axis direction. By these aspects, the influence of thermal expansion is limited to a two-dimensional from a common three-dimensional, thereby enabling a design of a countermeasure to an influence of a thermal expansion. Also, the support from the side does not create a dead space thereby making the wavelength selection device compact.
Abstract:
In an optical apparatus according to the present invention, the lens thicknesses and curvature radiuses of respective first lenses are optimized so that beam waist positions of optical beams emitted from the respective first lenses of a lens array are independently changed according to aberration of a second lens, and the focal position deviation due to the aberration of the second lens is cancelled by a difference between the beam waist positions, which is given on the lens array side. As a result, it is possible to suppress, at a low cost, variations in focal positions of the optical beams which are emitted from respective ports of the lens array to be condensed by the common lens.

Abstract:
Wheel suspension units each having fluid spring chambers are arranged in a vehicle suspension apparatus. A roll control quantity, determined in accordance with the relationship between a vehicle velocity and a steering angle, i.e., inlet solenoid valves and exhaust solenoid valves are controlled in accordance with solenoid ON/OFF time, thereby controlling rolling of the vehicle.
Abstract:
A vehicle engine control device stopping fuel injection if a predetermined fuel cut condition is satisfied, is provided, during running with the fuel injection stopped, when inertia of a power transmission system rotating with the engine has a smaller rate of inertia of the power transmission system acting on rotation of an output shaft of the engine, the fuel injection being started at a lower engine rotation speed as compared to the case of a larger rate of inertia of the power transmission system acting on rotation of the output shaft of the engine, a clutch capable of connecting and interrupting power transmission between the engine and the power transmission system being interposed between the engine and the power transmission system, a rate of inertia of the power transmission system acting on rotation of the output shaft of the engine being configured to decrease as a clutch stroke of the clutch that is an operation amount of a clutch pedal increases, and an engine rotation speed for starting the fuel injection being set to a lower value as the clutch stroke increases.
Abstract:
The invention provides a fiber collimator array including a fiber array in which a plurality of optical fibers is arrayed and a microlens array in which microlenses are arrayed on positions corresponding to the plurality of optical fibers on a transparent substrate. Each microlens and the transparent substrate are oppositely arranged so that a plurality of projections formed on a bottom face of each microlens intersects with a plurality of projections formed on a surface of the transparent substrate, and each microlens and the transparent substrate are adhered to each other by the adhesive.
