摘要: The invention relates to an air-actuated vehicle system, comprising an actuating device which houses a pressurizable chamber, a pressurized air source, a conduit extending between the pressurized air source and the actuating device, for enabling the pressurizable chamber of the actuating device to be pressurized with air from the pressurized air source, and a pressure sensing arrangement measuring a first pressure inside the pressurized air source and a second pressure inside the pressurizable chamber, wherein the pressure sensing arrangement is configured to determine that the system has an air leakage when the result of the measurement(s) of said second pressure deviates from an expected result, wherein the expected result is based on the result of the measurement(s) of said first pressure. The invention also relates to a method of leakage detection.

摘要: A motion control system includes a top mount, a bottom mount, a rigid housing, an air spring, and a linear actuator. The air spring transfers force of a first load path between the top mount and the bottom mount. The air spring includes a pressurized cavity containing pressurized gas that transfers the force of the first load path. The linear actuator transfers force of a second load path between the top mount and the bottom mount in parallel to the first load path. The rigid housing defines at least part of the pressurized cavity and transfers the force of the second load path.

摘要: A highly reliable and highly efficient air suspension system for a vehicle is provided by improving the trackability of stroke control with respect to pressure fluctuations applied to a linear compressor, suppressing stroke increase due to pressure drop, preventing piston collision, and increasing a flow rate by reducing dead volume. To realize this, the air suspension system includes an air suspension that supplies and discharges compressed air to adjust a length, a compressor body in which a piston reciprocates in a cylinder to compress air, a linear motor that reciprocates the piston, a tank that is connected to the air suspension or the compressor body and stores compressed air, a solenoid valve that opens and closes the air suspension or the tank, and an inverter that changes power supplied to the linear motor according to an open and closed state of the solenoid valve to perform position control of the piston.

摘要: A clearance risk detection system is provided in a vehicle. The clearance risk detection system is configured to: identify a terrain object in a vehicle travel path; classify the terrain object based on whether the host vehicle can clear the terrain object or cannot clear the terrain object; provide a first indicator that indicates that the host vehicle can clear the terrain object when appropriate; provide a second indicator that indicates that the host vehicle can clear the terrain object with a suggested raising of vehicle ride height when appropriate; automatically raise the vehicle ride height when appropriate; and provide a third indicator that indicates that the host vehicle cannot clear the terrain object even with raising vehicle ride height when appropriate.

Driven lift axle systems may include one or more motors mounted to the lift axle to provide torque to drive one or more wheels of the lift axle. Various mounting configurations of such motors are possible, such as arranging a motor on the axle to provide torque at a conventional driveshaft input by interfacing with a differential drive gear, positioning a motor at each of the wheel ends of the axle to provide torque directly to the wheels, etc. Each wheel can be driven by a separate motor, allowing for independent control of the torque applied to each wheel. Lift axles described herein can be suitable for use with various motors capable of applying torque to the axle and/or wheels, such as electric motors, hydraulic motors, internal combustion engines, etc.

The vehicle includes an air suspension system, an air spring and an air storage tank in the air suspension system, which are connected through an air circuit. 摘要: A vehicle height adjusting device includes a vehicle height adjusting unit, a prediction unit, and a vehicle height control unit. The vehicle height adjusting unit adjusts a vehicle height to one of a first state and a second state. In the first state, the vehicle height is set to a predetermined height, and in the second state, the vehicle height is set lower than the first state. The prediction unit predicts whether a drive battery (lower portion) of a vehicle interferes with a road surface in the second state. The vehicle height control unit controls the vehicle height adjusting unit to set the vehicle height to one of the first state and the second state. When the prediction unit predicts an interference between the drive battery of the vehicle and the road surface, the vehicle height adjusting unit restricts a transition from the first state to the second state.

In one example, a method comprises: during a vehicle stop event, adjusting a height of a skateboard frame of an electric vehicle via an adjustable suspension system, based on at least one sensor input indicative of a desired skateboard frame height. In this way, user activities, including loading and unloading, may be facilitated.
