Abstract:
A lidded drum of synthetic material includes a clamping ring of metal for fastening the lid on the upper drum rim, wherein the clamping ring is U-shaped in cross section and engages in the closed state with its upper leg over the lid rim and the lower leg engages under an annular contact surface of a border of the drum wall. The contact surface extends perpendicularly or obliquely relative to the longitudinal axis of the drum. The contact surface is arranged below the upper drum rim and constitutes the upper limitation of an indentation in the upper portion of the drum wall. The lid rim formed by an inner rim, an outer rim, and a connecting ring, has a U-shaped cross sectional profile which is open toward the bottom and includes a sealing bed for placing or foaming a lid seal therein, wherein the lid seal is pressed in the closed state of the drum lid by the clamping force of the clamping ring against the upper lid rim. An annular bead is integrally formed on the connecting leg of the upper and lower legs of the clamping ring, wherein the annular bead is directed radially inwardly and, when the clamping ring is closed, the annular bead rests in a positively engaging manner against the outer rim of the lid for securing the lid on the upper lid rim.
Abstract:
A method for producing a tapping valve formed as a plastic injection-molded part for plastic or metal shipping and storage tanks for liquids, wherein, in a first process step, the screw cap for screwing the valve onto the outlet connection of a liquid tank is produced in a first injection mold, the screw cap is then placed in a second injection mold, and in a second process step, the valve body is produced in the second injection mold in such a way that the inlet connection of the valve body passes through the opening of the ring shoulder and the threaded hole of the screw cap with clearance, and the collar of the inlet connection of the valve body is located inside the screw cap. In a second method, the valve body and its inlet connection are injection-molded as separate parts in a first process step, and in a second process step, the inlet connection, with a screw cap slipped onto it, is welded onto the valve body.
Abstract:
A wide mouth plastic barrel with a removable lid and a clamping ring closure is manufactured by extruding a plastic tube into a blow mold and by producing a closed preform. The preform is finish-blown to a barrel body, wherein the blowing air for finish-blowing a barrel body with a closed lid is introduced through a blow nozzle inserted into an intermediate ring of the barrel body and the blowing air for finish-blowing a barrel body with a bung lid is introduced through a bung hole by a blow nozzle and optionally through a blow nozzle in the intermediate ring. After removal from the blow mold, the lid is separated from the barrel body by cutting out the intermediate ring. A seal is inserted into the barrel lid, and the barrel lid is fastened by the clamping ring on a projection of the basic barrel member.

The transport and storage container for liquids further includes a fabric-like, net-like or lattice-like sheathing of an electrically conductive material which is applied onto the inner container and surrounds the inner container completely or partially.
Abstract:
Lettering plate (10) which is to be attached to the outside of a lattice jacket of a pallet container has a lower support edge (14) which is flanged or bevelled to the outside. The lower support edge abuts horizontal lattice rod (8) and reaches behind it. Two side edges (15, 16) of the lettering plate are flanged to the outside for resting on two vertical lattice rods (9). Openings (18) are provided in center section (17) of two side edges (15, 16) to hold horizontal lattice rod (8). The lettering plate (10) also has an upper edge (19) which is made as a clawed edge and which in the mounted state fits behind horizontal lattice rod (8) thereby resiliently bracing plate (10) against horizontal lattice rod (8). The horizontal lattice rod abuts the back of the plate in a middle plate section. The lower and upper edge (14, 15) have, depending on the size of lettering plate (10) and the grid division of the lattice jacket, one or more openings for holding one or more vertical lattice rods (9). The plate (10) can be equipped with a seal of originality.
Abstract:
A pallet container (1) which may be used as a one-way of multi-way container to transport and store fluids, includes a blow molded fluid container (2) made of plastic which has a drain bottom (3) and a flexible inner liner (4) made of plastic foil or a composite metal-plastic foil. A pallet (5) which is designed as a floor pan (6) made of sheet metal or plastic which has a drain bottom (7) designed to serve as a form-fitted receptacle for the fluid container (2), as well as a metal grid casing (8) or sheet metal casing which encloses the fluid container (2). The fluid container (2) is sealed with a removable closure (12) which allows a simple and fast insertion of the inner liner (4) in the fluid container (2). To facilitate the insertion and removal of the inner liner into and/or from the fluid container, the same may be equipped with an integrally molded hinged cover, and it is possible to divide the fluid container into two halves after the blow molding.
Abstract:
The lid seal for wide-mouthed barrels (2) blow-molded of a synthetic resin utilizes a solid sealing ring (9) of plastic, this ring being in contact with the underside of a solid flange (10) projecting radially outwardly at a spacing below the barrel opening from the barrel wall, as well as a counter ring (11), likewise produced of plastic, this counter ring resting on a flange (12) molded on the bottom to the outer lid rim (4). Locking sleeves (13, 14) are formed on the clamping rings (9, 11), distributed about the circumference, these sleeves engaging in corresponding bores (15, 16) in the barrel flange (10) and in the lid flange (12). The clamping rings (9, 11) and the locking sleeves (13, 14) molded thereon have conical aligned through bores (17, 18). For closing the lid (1) placed on the wide-mouthed barrel (2), clamping bolts (19) of plastic or metal are pressed, by a pressing tool, from above into the conical bores (18, 17) of the two clamping rings (11, 9). The ring (9) in contact with the barrel border (10) is supported by a corresponding device. On account of the clamping force exerted by the clamping bolts (19), the lid gasket (8) is pressed against the opening rim of the barrel neck (3).
Abstract:
