摘要: An electronic component that reduces resistance and prevents occurrence of an edge effect, includes a laminated body formed by stacking insulator layers. Conductor layers are linear conductors, and define coils included in the laminated body. The conductor layers face each other, with the insulator layer interposed therebetween, and allow signals of substantially the same phase to pass therethrough. The conductor layers define regions, each having a shape which decreases in thickness in the z-axis direction with increasing distance from a center thereof in a line width direction.

摘要: Setting and operation of a TV, a mobile terminal, and the like are extremely complex to an ordinary user. Even when part of the setting and operation is automatically done, still a change needs to be performed so as to meet the needs of the user according to a use status. In view of this, a RFID tag (8007) of a mobile AV terminal (8006) is brought into proximity of a RFID tag (8007) of a TV 1 to exchange the use status between the terminals, and then a command is generated on the basis of the use status and issued to a server apparatus or the like. Thus, by a simple touching operation (moving the terminal close to the other terminal), it is possible to communicate information for authentication and timing synchronization and thereby meet the needs of the user, with there being no need for the user to perform complex setting and operation.

摘要: In an electronic component, a multilayer body includes a plurality of insulator layers stacked on top of one another. A first coil is provided in the multilayer body, includes a first coil axis and extends toward the positive side in the z-axis direction while circling counterclockwise around the first coil axis. A second coil is connected to the first coil, is provided in the multilayer body, includes a second coil axis, and extends toward the negative side in the z-axis direction while circling counterclockwise around the second coil axis. When viewed in plan from the z-axis direction, the first coil axis is disposed inside the second coil and the second coil axis is disposed inside the first coil.

Thus, the communication apparatus of the present invention can reduce processing load for QoS setting for an AV flow which is used in real time communication, and can detect even an AV flow for which an unpublished protocol or the like is used.

摘要: A communication apparatus which, in an ad-hoc network, when receiving control packets from a plurality of terminals, can determine whether or not there is a collision among the control packets, and, based on the determination, can be prevented from continuing to be out of the network due to a collision among the control packets transmitted from the plurality of terminals. In the communication terminal, a communication section receives a control packet which periodically comes up on a communication path. When the communication apparatus receives a plurality of control packets which are defective in at least payload portions thereof within a predetermined time period, if a control section determines that source addresses included in header portions of the control packets which are defective in the payload portions thereof include a source address which is not identical to the other source addresses, the control section determines that the control packets are transmitted from a plurality of terminals and collide with each other.

摘要: A communication medium determining apparatus determines a communication medium in use for communication between two devices on a network. The apparatus includes a communication performance obtaining unit which obtains values indicating transmission speeds in a given communication path when a device which decreases transmission speed in a specific communication medium when activated, is active and when the device is inactive. The apparatus further includes a communication medium determining unit which determines whether or not the communication through the given communication path is performed using the specific communication medium. This determination is based on a speed decrease value indicating a decrease amount of the transmission speed in the specific communication medium caused by activation of the device, and a speed difference value which is a difference in the transmission speed obtained by the communication performance obtaining unit between when the device is active and when the device is inactive.
