摘要: By connecting correction information storing means to an exterior computer, such as a personal computer, and then utilizing the personal computer as a second image storing means, it is possible that correction information is read from the correction information storing means and M value gradation image data is read from the second image storing means, to reproduce the read M value gradation image in a state where position errors at connection part has been corrected In addition, since image data having N value smaller than M value is stored in a first image storing means that is required to be installed as an inner memory, it is possible to suppress the storage capacity of the first image storing means. As a result, the invention provides an image processing apparatus capable of reading gradation image with reduced memory costs of storing means.

摘要: A resistive ribbon thermal transfer printing apparatus produces two kinds of electric pulses for selectively energizing recording electrodes of a printing head according to a data to be printed. A first electric pulse (normal pulse) is applied to a recording electrode which is to be energized and is disposed between two recording electrodes which are to be energized. A second electric pulse (specific pulse) is smaller in energy than the normal pulse and is applied to a recording electrode which is to be energized and is not disposed between two recording electrodes which are to be energized. This selective application of the two kinds of pulses allows the size of the printed dots to become uniform.

摘要: An image read apparatus for reading an image on a document which includes a reciprocatively movable document placing plate for placing thereon the document, a document placing plate driving mechanism for driving the document placing plate and an image reader for reading the image information on the document. The document placing plate is movable reciprocatively between a first position where the document placing plate is housed completely in the image read apparatus and a second position where the document placing plate projects outwardly from the image read apparatus to thereby enable the document to be placed thereon. The image read apparatus sequentially reads the image information on the document between each sequential movement of the document placing plate from the second position to the first position. Preferably, a document holding member such as a flexible sheet or an endless belt is provided for pressing the document onto the document placing plate within the image read apparatus.

摘要: A light source apparatus includes a light source unit in which a light source and a light source supporting member having elasticity in an optical axis direction are coupled together, and a collimating lens base member on which a collimating lens is supported. An optical axis direction adjusting member is positioned between the light source unit and the collimating lens base member. A position of the light source unit can be adjusted within a plane approximately perpendicular to the optical axis, and the light source unit can thereafter be secured relative to the collimating lens base member via the light source supporting member. The optical axis direction adjusting member is movable in the optical axis direction, and is disposed such that by its movement it causes the light source supporting member to deform against the elasticity of the light source supporting member, thereby allowing an adjustment of a position of the light source with respect to the collimating lens in the optical axis direction.

摘要: An ink jet head 1 mounted on a carriage 2 in an ink jet recording apparatus according to the present invention performs a shuttling operation under the guidance of a carriage shaft 3. A high voltage of about −2 KV is applied between an opposite electrode 4 and the ink jet head 1 by a power source 5. An ink droplet 17 is ejected from the ink jet head 1 slantwise with respect to the opposite electrode 4, thus reducing a deviation between impact positions of large and small droplets.

摘要: A transfer member includes a dyeing layer transfer member, which has a lubricating heat-resistant layer on the reverse surface of a first base material and laminated layers of a parting layer and a dyeing layer on the obverse surface, an ink transfer member, having a lubricating heat-resistant layer on the reverse surface of a second base material and the laminated layers of an adhesive layer and an ink layer, an intermediate member having a functional layer on a third base material, and an image-receptor. A thermal transfer printing method includes the steps of thermally transferring the dyeing layer onto the functional layer by setting a thermal head in contact with the lubricating heat-resistant layer of the dyeing layer transfer member, thermally transferring dye of the ink layer onto the dyeing layer that was transferred onto the functional layer in response to picture signals by setting the thermal head in contact with the lubricating heat-resistant layer of the ink transfer member, and thermally transferring the dyeing layer recorded with the dye onto the main surface of the image-receptor. Thus, pictorial images of high quality are formed on the image-receptor, and thermal transfer printing can be carried out repeatedly and stably.
