Abstract: A method comprises receiving, by a processing device, clinical data of a first state of one or more dental arches of a patient. The method further comprises determining, by the processing device, one or more stages of an orthodontic treatment plan for correcting the one or more dental arches based on processing of the clinical data. Determining a stage of the orthodontic treatment plan comprises determining one or more actions to be performed with respect to the one or more dental arches and determining a target state of the one or more dental arches that is predicted to result at least in part from the one or more actions.

Abstract: A system includes a memory and a processing device operatively coupled to the memory. The processing device receives an image of a smile of an individual comprising initial contours of teeth of the individual, receives or generates image data comprising target contours of the teeth of an individual, and generates a new image based on the received image data and one or more parametric functions associated with tooth color determined from the image of the smile, wherein a shape of the teeth in the new image is based on the received image data and a color of the teeth in the new image is based on applying the one or more parametric functions to at least a portion of the image data.

Abstract: Methods for automatically segmenting a 3D model of a patient's teeth may include scanning a patient's dentition and converting the scan data into a 3D model, including a sparse voxel representation of the 3D model. Features can be extracted from the sparse voxel representation of the 3D model and input into a machine learning model to train the machine learning model to segment the 3D model into individual dental components.

Abstract: The present technology provides solutions for anonymizing patient data and in particular, for anonymizing potentially unique patient-identifying information while retaining clinically relevant information, for example, that can be used to illustrate the results or outcomes of a clinical intervention. In some aspects, a process of the disclosed technology can include steps for receiving patient data, wherein the patient data comprises a patient image corresponding with a patient, receiving treatment data, wherein the treatment data is based on a treatment goal for the patient, automatically determining, using one or more semantic controls, one or more anonymization parameters for the patient image; and generating, based on the one or more anonymization parameters, an anonymized patient image. Systems and machine-readable media are also provided.

The one or more processors receive a facial image comprising a two-dimensional (2D) depiction of a person's teeth at a first arrangement and receive a tooth model comprising a three-dimensional (3D) depiction of the person's teeth at a second arrangement. The one or more processors obtain color information from the facial image, wherein the color information represents a color scheme of the person's teeth at the first arrangement. The one or more processors generate a photo-realistic 2D depiction of the person's teeth at the second arrangement using the 3D depiction of the person's teeth at the second arrangement and the color information obtained from the facial image. The one or more processors send the photo-realistic 2D depiction of the person's teeth at the second arrangement for display on a display device.
