    摘要： Disclosed herein is an apparatus for controlling the capacity of an air conditioner and a control method using the same. The capacity control apparatus is configured in such a fashion that a 3-way or 4-way direction-switching member and a low-pressure equalizing solenoid valve are provided at a refrigerant path of the air conditioner having a pair of first and second compressors, so that the compression capacity of the air conditioner is adjusted into three stages of 100%, 60%, and 40% using the first and second compressors, enabling easy variable-capacity operation. This has the effect of considerably reducing energy consumption and of preventing wear of the first and second compressors via a rapid compensation of a pressure unbalance between both the compressors. As a result, under any operating condition, it is possible to prevent a liquid backflow phenomenon from occurring when starting operation of the compressors, resulting in an improvement in the reliability and operation efficiency of the compressors.

    摘要： A method for supporting handoff and preventing data loss in mobile communications networks is provided. The method for a mobile node establishing a mobile Internet protocol (MIP) with at least one or more wireless packet service systems, each of which has a serving GPRS support node (SGSN) and a gateway GPRS support node (GGSN), includes: a first SGSN connected to the mobile node transmitting predetermined first connection information on the mobile node to at least one or more second SGSNs adjacent to the first SGSN; the second SGSN receiving the first connection information storing the first connection information as a database item, and transmitting 1 first connection acknowledgement message to the first SGSN; if reception of the connection acknowledgement message is successful, the first GGSN connected to the first SGSN transmitting predetermined second connection information on the mobile node to at least one or more second GGSNs connected to the second SGSN; and the second GGSN receiving the second connection information and then transmitting a second connection acknowledgement message to the second GGSN. By transmitting information on a mobile node required for handoff to adjacent foreign agents (FAs) in advance, when handoff is performed, reliable handoff can be performed quickly without resetting and releasing a PPP, such that IP mobility services can be provided.

A connection structure of a plasma display panel according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a first substrate having a plurality of panel-electrodes; a second substrate having a plurality of connecting-electrodes arranged to correspond to the panel-electrodes; and a connection member located between the first substrate and the second substrate to directly connect the connecting-electrodes with the panel-electrodes upon compression. Accordingly, there is no conductive ball, so the occurrence of short circuit caused by the conductive ball mass of prior art is prevented and, at the same time, the copper electrode penetrates the panel-electrode, thereby improving connection cohesiveness.
