Abstract: In an X-ray imaging system, first X-ray irradiation and second X-ray irradiation are performed in performing X-ray imaging once. A preview producing circuit subjects first image data outputted from a sensor panel after the first X-ray irradiation is finished to binning processing or thinning processing to produce a preview image. The produced image is transmitted through a communication I/F to a console while the sensor panel performs an accumulation operation in the second X-ray irradiation. The preview image is displayed on a monitor of the console in the second X-ray irradiation.

Abstract: The present invention provides a radiographic imaging system, a radiographic imaging device, a handheld terminal device and a radiographic imaging method that may improve convenience for a user, in a case in which handheld terminal device is used for radiographic imaging. In a case where a radiographic image is imaged without using a console, the radiographic imaging device generates an image ID and transmits to the handheld terminal device. The handheld terminal device associates the received image ID with a patient ID and memorizes in a memory section. Meanwhile, the radiographic imaging device associates image data of the imaged radiographic image with the image ID and memorizes in a memory section. After imaging is completed, the console separately receives the associated image ID and patient ID from the handheld terminal device and receives the associated image ID and image data from the radiographic imaging device.

Abstract: An X-ray imaging system or radiographic imaging system includes a radiation generating apparatus and a radiographic imaging apparatus. An ionization chamber device is external to the radiographic imaging apparatus, for detecting a dose of the radiation transmitted through an object. Dose sensors are incorporated in the radiographic imaging apparatus, for detecting a dose of the radiation transmitted through the object. An exposure control unit is disposed with the radiation generating apparatus, for shutting off application of the radiation from the radiation generating apparatus according to a detection signal from the ionization chamber device or dose sensors. The ionization chamber device is communicably coupled with the radiation generating apparatus. An operating state of the ionization chamber device and dose sensors is acquired by monitoring, so failure of simultaneous inputting of their detection signals to the exposure control unit is prevented.

A scattered radiation removal unit removes a scattered component from the radiographic image using at least imaging conditions. Abstract: A measurement area selection circuit has an irradiation field determination unit, an object area determination unit, and a measurement area determination unit. The irradiation field determination unit determines an irradiation field of an imaging surface of an FPD. The object area determination unit determines an object area from a comparison result between a first expected received dose of a directly exposed area and dose detection signals of detection pixels situated in the irradiation field. The measurement area determination unit determines a measurement area, which corresponds to a region of interest, from a comparison result between a second expected received dose of the measurement area and the dose detection signals of the detection pixels situated in the irradiation area and the object area. The dose detection signals of the detection pixels situated in the measurement area are used for AEC.

Abstract: In a radiographic imaging apparatus, a radiation image of an object is detected by use of one of first and second electronic cassettes, to input the radiation image to the console device. The first electronic cassette is changed over between a normal transmission mode and a relay transmission mode. In the normal transmission mode, the radiation image is transmitted through a path from the first electronic cassette to the console device, and in the relay transmission mode, the radiation image is transmitted from the first electronic cassette to the second electronic cassette wirelessly and then from the second electronic cassette to the console device. Transmission of a radiation image can be performed reliably without unwanted interruption, because an indirect path of the relay transmission mode can be used even upon occurrence of a technical problem of inefficiency in the normal transmission mode.

Abstract: A radiation image capture device includes plural radiation detection panels that each detect incident radiation that has passed through an imaging subject, that each generate a radiation image, and that are disposed in a row in a direction orthogonal to the radiation incident direction. The radiation image capture device designates a display target image from out of plural radiation images respectively generated by the plural radiation detection panels, and transmits the designated display target image to a console. At least a radiation image other than the display target image is stored in an image memory. The console displays on a display section the received display target image and, in response to data indicating a display request for a radiation image other than the display target image, also displays on the display section the radiation image other than the display target image read from the image memory.
