Abstract:
An organic x-ray detector is presented. The organic x-ray detector includes a layered structure. The layered structure includes a thin-film transistor (TFT) array disposed on a substrate, an organic photodiode disposed on the TFT array, and a scintillator layer disposed on the organic photodiode. The organic x-ray detector further includes an encapsulation cover at least partially encapsulating the layered structure; and an oxygen getter layer disposed between the organic photodiode and the encapsulation cover, wherein the oxygen getter layer includes an ether-containing material. X-ray system including the organic x-ray detector is also presented.
Abstract:
A monolithically integrated cadmium telluride (CdTe) photovoltaic (PV) module includes a first electrically conductive layer and an insulating layer. The first electrically conductive layer is disposed below the insulating layer. The PV module further includes a back contact metal layer and a CdTe absorber layer. The back contact metal layer is disposed between the insulating layer and the CdTe absorber layer. The PV module further includes a window layer and a second electrically conductive layer. The window layer is disposed between the CdTe absorber layer and the second electrically conductive layer. At least one first trench extends through the back contact metal layer, at least one second trench extends through the absorber and window layers, and at least one third trench extends through the second electrically conductive layer. A method for monolithically integrating CdTe PV cells is also provided.

Provided herein are gamma stable dextran solutions and kits that increase the efficiency of blood separation by allowing the dextran solution to be sterilized by exposure to gamma radiation and maintain sufficient molecular weight to act as a red blood cell aggregant. Further provided are methods of use.
