Abstract: In a forwarding fault location determining method, a controller receives a plurality of table search statistical results of a plurality of forwarding tables for a first service from one or more forwarders. The plurality of forwarding tables include a first forwarding table and a second forwarding table, and the first forwarding table is prior to the second forwarding table in terms of a search sequence. Subsequently, the controller determines that table search behavior of the first forwarding table for the first service is normal and table search behavior of the second forwarding table for the first service is abnormal. The controller determines, based on the determining result, that the second forwarding table is a faulty forwarding table for the first service.

Abstract: A method for processing a forwarding device fault, a device, and a controller are provided, and relate to the communications field. The method is as follows. An SNC receives a notification message sent by a first forwarding device, where the notification message includes a fault parameter of the first forwarding device, and the fault parameter includes a device identifier of the first forwarding device, a port identifier of a degraded port, and a degradation value of the port identified by the port identifier. The SNC determines, according to the device identifier and the port identifier, at least one forwarding path that passes through the port identified by the port identifier. The SNC also determines, according to the fault parameter of the first forwarding device and the fault parameters of other forwarding devices on one forwarding path, whether to update the forwarding path.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method and an apparatus for detecting connectivity. An SDN device transmits a session negotiation packet to a second network element, where the session negotiation packet is used to negotiate a link between a first network element and the second network element, and the first network element is located in an SDN network; the SDN device obtains a response message returned by the second network element to determine that the link is negotiated successfully; and the SDN device transmits a heartbeat packet to the second network element, where the heartbeat packet is used to detect connectivity of the link. As can be learned, after determining that the link between the second network element and the first network element located in the SDN network is negotiated successfully, the SDN device transmits the heartbeat packet to the second network element.

Abstract: A management device obtains network data of a target network. The network data includes a network topology of the target network and device information of a plurality of network devices in the target network, and the device information includes one or more of interface configuration information, protocol configuration information, and service configuration information. The management device extracts a plurality of knowledge graph triplets from the network data. Each knowledge graph triplet includes two network entities and a relationship between the two network entities. The type of the network entity may be a network device, an interface, a protocol, or a service. The management device generates a knowledge graph of the target network based on the plurality of knowledge graph triplets. The knowledge graph of the target network can be used to visualize the network data.
