    摘要: The invention relates to a process and apparatus for manufacturing hollow sections with cross-sectional expansions in end portions thereof. A hollow blank is widened and calibrated by internal high pressure forming by means of a forming tool receiving it, and, after the calibration, is separated in the area of the widening while forming two hollow sections with cross-sectionally widened ends facing one another in the separated position. In order manufacture from a hollow blank hollow sections with the lowest possible reject rate and therefore in a reliable process, which are cross-sectionally widened on the end side by means of high degree for forming, the blank is widened while the forming tool is open and is simultaneously upset to form a rotationally symmetrical bulging hollow section by means of a pressure force which is axially directed from the outside to at least one of the two blank ends.

A hollow profile section blank is inserted into a cavity of an internal high pressure forming tool and thereafter being pressed mechanically into an intermediate form approximate to the final form of the hollow profile section, after which, with the tool closed, the intermediate form of the blank is expanded into the final form of the hollow profile section. The blank used in terms of its peripheral length, possesses oversize with respect to the peripheral length of the forming tool cavity. Moreover, the blank material which is excess with respect to the blank material required for the hollow profile section blank to come to bear completely against the cavity of the forming tool is pushed into the blank interior, so as to form an indentation, at the earliest during the pressing operation.

    摘要: In a method and apparatus for producing a composite component, a tubular hollow section blank is placed into a die cavity of a combination tool comprising an inner high-pressure shaping tool and an injection-molding tool. The combination tool is filled with a fluid in such a way that the blank is wetted from the inside by the fluid, and the ends of the combination tool are sealed by two axial molding plugs. The filled blank is then expanded under pressure . The finished hollow section is plastic-coated in the same tool. The hollow section is emptied after shaping in the sealed state, at least until it is no longer dripping, the pressurized fluid being expelled under pressure from the hollow section through at least one discharge channel formed in the axial molding plugs.

    摘要: An internal high pressure forming installation is provided, in which a forming tool with upper and lower dies form a forming chamber for pressure forming a closed hollow profile. The installation has at least one axial punch which can seal the hollow profile be sealed at one end and apply an internal high pressure to expand the hollow profile. The installation includes a rapid filling device which can pre-fill the hollow profile with pressurized fluid when the axial punch is drawn back from the hollow profile end. In order for the production of hollow profiles to be suitable for mass production in a simple manner, the filling attachment is transported on the axial punch which brings the filling attachment into a contact position on the forming tool in order to fill it and, after the filling, guides it into a position remote from the forming tool.
