The forming system includes a gas supply portion that supplies a gas to the heated metal pipe material to expand the metal pipe material, a nozzle that includes a feed port for supplying the gas, a discharge portion that discharges the gas after expanding the metal pipe material, and a cooling unit that cools the gas flowing through the discharge portion and is provided in the nozzle.

    摘要: A forming device which expands a metal pipe material to form a metal pipe having a pipe portion and a flange portion includes first and second dies paired with each other and including pipe forming surfaces for forming the pipe portion and flange forming surfaces for forming the flange portion, a drive unit that drives at least one of the first and second dies, and a controller that controls the drive unit, in which, on at least one of the flange forming surfaces of the first and second dies, a protrusion portion protruding by an amount not to abut against the other flange forming surface when the dies are closed is formed and the controller controls the drive unit to form a thin wall portion at which a thickness of the flange portion becomes partially small at the flange portion by the protrusion portion pressing the flange portion.

    摘要: A forming device includes a gas supply part supplying a gas into a metal pipe material held and heated between a first die and a second die paired with each other. A driving mechanism moves at least one of the first die and the second die in a direction in which the dies are combined together. A first cavity part is formed between the first die and the second die to form the pipe part. A second cavity part communicates with the first cavity part to form the flange part. A flange forming member can be allowed to advance or retreat in the second cavity part, and forms the flange part. A controller controls the gas supply of the gas supply part, the driving of the driving mechanism, and the advance or retreat of the flange forming member.

    摘要: A hydroforming apparatus and working method able to simply find a load path are proposed, which system and method use a mold in which contact sensors able to judge contact with a metal tube inside the mold are mounted at least at two different positions in the tube axial direction, perform a first step of axially pushing tube ends in a state with the internal pressure held at a constant value and stopping the progress of the axial pushing action when judging that among the contact sensors not yet in contact mounted at positions closest to the tube ends detect contact with the metal tube, next perform a second step of raising only the internal pressure while leaving the positions of the tube ends fixed and stopping the increase in the internal pressure when the contact sensor not yet in contact judges contact, next perform a third step of lowering the internal pressure to the value before raising it while leaving the positions of the tube ends fixed, and repeat said first step to third step until all of said contact sensors judge contact so as to obtain a hydroformed part.
