    摘要: A toner for developing electrostatic latent images, comprises:100 parts by weight of a binder resin;20 to 200 parts by weight of magnetic powder; and0.01 to 10 parts by weight of a compoundrepresented by the following formula ##STR1## wherein A is a phenylene group, which may have a substituent selected from a nitro group, a halogen atom, an alkoxy group having 1 to 18 carbon atoms, an alkyl group having 1 to 18 carbon atoms, an alkenyl group having 2 to 18 carbon atoms, an aralkyl group having 7 to 18 carbon atoms or an aryl group having 6 to 18 carbon atoms; B is a phenylene group or a naphthylene group which may have a substituent selected from a nitro group, a halogen atom, a carboxyl group, an anilide group, an alkoxy group having 1 to 18 carbon atoms, a carboxyester group having 2 to 18 carbon atoms, an alkyl group having 1 to 18 carbon atoms, an alkenyl group having 2 to 18 carbon atoms, an aralkyl group having 7 to 18 carbon atoms or an aryl group having 6 to 18 carbon atoms; X and Y each are --O--, --COO--, --S-- or ##STR2## where R is hydrogen or an alkyl having 1 to 4 carbon atoms; M represents scandium, vanadium, manganese or zinc; C represents hydrogen, sodium, potassium, ammonium or organic ammonium; with the proviso that when A or B has plural substituents, they may be either the same or different.

    摘要: A toner for developing an electrostatic image includes a binder resin, a colorant and a wax. The toner shows heat-absorption characteristics represented by a DSC heat-absorption curve obtained on temperature increase in a temperature range of 30-150.degree. C. by a differential scanning colorimeter (DSC). The DSC heat-absorption curve shows a maximum heat-absorption peak (P1) in a temperature range of 70-90.degree. C. The DSC curve also provides a differential curve showing a first maximum (Max1) on a lowest temperature side at a temperature (T1) of 50-65.degree. C., showing a second maximum (Max2) on a next lowest temperature side at a temperature (T2) of 65-85.degree. C., and showing a minimum (Min1) on a highest temperature side at a temperature (T3) of at least 95.degree. C. Because of the DSC heat-absorption characteristics, the toner exhibits excellent fixability (including anti-offset characteristic) over a wide temperature range and excellent continuous image forming characteristic.

    摘要: A toner having a stable chargeability in various environments, a stable fixability over a wide temperature range and a resistance to sticking on an image-bearing member, is formed of a binder resin, a colorant and an azo iron compound as a charge control agent. The azo iron compound is formed from a monoazo compound having at least one alkyl group and two hydroxyl groups capable of bonding with an iron atom. The toner has a tetrahydrofuran-soluble content providing a gel-permeation chromatogram showing at least one peak in a molecular weight region of 3×103 to 5×104 and at least one peak or shoulder in a molecular weight region of above 5×104 and at most 1×107.

    摘要: A toner for developing electrostatic images is comprised of a binder resin and a wax. The binder resin contains as a primary component a polyester resin having a soft segment. The wax has, in its endothermic peaks at the time of temperature rise and exothermic peaks at the time of temperature drop in the DSC curve measured using a differential scanning calorimeter; (i) an endothermic onset temperature within the range of from 50° C. to 110° C.; (ii) at least one endothermic peak P1 within the range of from 70° C. to 130° C. at the time of temperature rise; and (iii) a maximum exothermic peak at the time of temperature drop, within the range of plus-minus 9° C. of the endothermic peak P1.
