    摘要: A system and a method for printing a secure document that is difficult to forge and readily easy to visually verify are disclosed. The system includes a colorant for printing an image on a surface of a document, a dye for forming a latent version of the image underneath the surface, a substrate, and a migration agent for facilitating the migration of the dye through at least a portion of the substrate. The migration agent may be coated onto a portion of the substrate or embedded within the substrate. An ink may serve as the migration agent, in which case, the ink contains a solute for the dye.

    摘要: The present invention provides a magnetic mono-component toner which can suppress a selection development on a latent image carrier and can maintain favorable image properties for a long period by using a toner having the coarse powder distribution (S) within a given range in a jumping developing method and an image forming method which uses the toner. In the toner used in the jumping developing method which develops an electrostatic latent image formed on a latent image carrier using a developer carrier, the toner includes toner particles which contain at least a binding resin and a magnetic powder, and the coarse powder distribution (S) of the toner particles satisfies a following formula (1).     摘要: A toner having a stable chargeability in various environments, a stable fixability over a wide temperature range and a resistance to sticking on an image-bearing member, is formed of a binder resin, a colorant and an azo iron compound as a charge control agent. The azo iron compound is formed from a monoazo compound having at least one alkyl group and two hydroxyl groups capable of bonding with an iron atom. The toner has a tetrahydrofuran-soluble content providing a gel-permeation chromatogram showing at least one peak in a molecular weight region of 3×103 to 5×104 and at least one peak or shoulder in a molecular weight region of above 5×104 and at most 1×107.
