摘要: A piston type compressor having a drive plate (swash plate), wherein sliding friction between the drive plate and shoes is reduced and the compressor is made smaller by slidably attaching the shoes engaged with spherical ends of pistons to a shoe holding plate formed with guide grooves in the radial direction and supporting the shoe holding plate by the drive plate through a thrust bearing. The drive plate is connected to an arm of the shaft side through a double slide link mechanism to enable it to be supported by only a front end of the front housing.

摘要: In a fluid apparatus used as a compressor, a swing support member is constructed of a hook-type adjustable joint, and supports a swing member in capable of swinging while restricting the swing member from rotating about a center axis of a shaft of the compressor. A variable mechanism portion is constructed of a rotary member rotatable around the shaft, the swing member and the like. A slant center around which the swing member swings is made to substantially correspond to a center of gravity of the variable mechanism portion. Therefore, a slant moment, for changing a slant angle of the swing member, is not structurally generated. Accordingly, even when the compressor operates, large vibration and large noise can be prevented, thereby improving durability of the compressor.

摘要: A scroll-type compressor for realizing the operating condition of complete 0% capacity without using an electromagnetic clutch. In order to minimize the power loss, a compliance crankshaft mechanism for allowing the orbiting radius of the movable scroll member to change steplessly to zero is interposed between a shaft and a scroll member. A guide hole having an inclined surface such as a two-step conical surface is formed at the end plate of the movable scroll member. A plunger adapted to engage by advancing toward and retracting from the guide hole is supported on a housing. When the plunger is advanced into the guide hole under the control of a control operation device including a control pressure chamber and a control valve, the movable scroll member moves radially, so that the amount of eccentricity and the orbiting radius thereof are reduced to achieve the 0% capacity.

摘要: A fluid machine for a gas compression refrigerating system comprises a first and a second working for performing a pump mode operation, in which working fluid of low pressure is sucked into and compressed by the working chambers. The fluid machine further comprises valve mechanism for selectively forming a motor mode passage in combination with a fluid passage change-over device, so that super heated working fluid of high pressure is introduced into at least one of the working chambers to perform a motor mode operation, in which the high pressure working fluid is expanded in the working chamber to obtain mechanical energy. The fluid machine according to the invention, therefore, performs the pump mode operation at one of the working chambers and at the same time the motor mode operation at the other working chamber.

摘要: A metal halide lamp comprises a light-transmitting discharge vessel having a discharge space portion, a sealed portion, and a pair of electrodes projecting into the discharge space. The discharge vessel is constructed and arranged to have a D/L ratio being in a range of about 0.25 to about 1.5 and a t/L ratio being in a range of about 0.16 to about 1.1, wherein L is an interspace of tips of the electrodes, D is a maximum inner diameter of the discharge vessel, and t is a maximum wall thickness of the discharge space portion. An ionizable filling contains a rare gas and a metal halide including at least sodium (Na) or scandium (Sc) and does not substantially include mercury (Hg). Each of conductive wires is connected electrically to the electrodes extending from the discharge vessel. The metal halide lamp may be used for a metal halide lamp apparatus or a vehicle lighting apparatus.

摘要: A scroll compressor wherein a cylinder is provided along the end plate of a stationary scroll member and a plurality of bypass holes which open in the end plate and can communicate with the space in the cylinder and a plurality of operating spaces formed between the spiral vanes of the stationary scroll member and a moving scroll member are successively opened by a plunger to communicate with the suction side, whereby the capacity may be changed smoothly. When reducing the capacity to close to 0 percent, another cylinder and plunger are used to bypass the discharge pressure to the suction side.

摘要: This invention provides a metal halide lamp and a lighting equipment that, despite the fact that mercury is not filled, can provide electrical characteristics comparable with a mercury-contained metal halide lamp and can provide luminescent characteristics favorably comparable with the mercury-contained metal halide lamp. A metal halide lamp MHL includes a hermetically sealed vessel 1, a pair of electrodes 2, and a discharge medium filled in the hermetically sealed vessel. The discharge medium contains a first halide, a second halide, and a rare gas. The first halide is composed mainly of a halide of a luminescent metal and contains a halide of thulium (Tm) filled at the highest filling ratio in all of metal halides filled in the hermetically sealed vessel, and the content of an alkali metal halide in the first halide is less than 10% by mass at the highest. The second halide is composed mainly of a metal halide for constituting a lamp voltage, and the content of the second halide is 5 to 20% by mass with respect to all of the metal halides filled in the hermetically sealed vessel. The discharge medium is substantially free from mercury.
