Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a communication method and system, an access network device, and an application server. The communication method includes: receiving, by an access network device, a service packet; and sending, by the access network device, the received service packet to an application server according to a policy, where the application server is arranged at an access network side, and is independent from the access network device or in the access network device, and the application server supports operation of at least one service. It can be seen that, an application server that supports operation of third-party applications is introduced at an access network side, so that a UE can directly perform service interaction with the access network side, which significantly improves the response time of a user request, decreases service delay, and improves the QoS of a service, thereby improving user experience.

The present invention provides a service data transmission processing method and device and a communication system. The service data transmission processing method includes: receiving, by a service offloading apparatus, uplink service data sent by a user equipment; obtaining, by the service offloading apparatus, a service type of the uplink service data; and sending, by the service offloading apparatus, uplink service data, a service type of which is a core network service to a core network service proxy apparatus through a first service tunnel, or sending, by the service offloading apparatus, uplink service data, a service type of which is a non-core network service to a non-core network service proxy apparatus through a second service tunnel. The technical solutions can avoid excessive use of backhaul network resources of a core network by non-core network services.

A scheduling method includes: enabling, by a base station, first scheduling to allocate resources to first-category UE, where the base station is configured to process data on a second component carrier of the first-category UE, and a current cell of the first-category UE is a secondary cell corresponding to the secondary component carrier; and transmitting, by the base station, data of the first-category UE over an air interface according to the allocated resources, where an enabling moment of the first scheduling is a first duration ahead of an air interface transmission moment corresponding to the first scheduling, the first duration is greater than a second duration, and the second duration is a duration ahead of an air interface transmission moment corresponding to the second scheduling compared with an enabling moment of the second scheduling. A real-time requirement in a CA scenario can be met by using the method.

The master-slave base station cluster includes: a central unit and at least one remote unit, where each remote unit is connected to the central unit through a remote interface; the central unit includes: at least one of a MAC layer function module, an RLC layer function module, a PDCP layer function module, and an RRC function module, and a first interface function module; and each remote unit includes: a second interface function module, an L1 layer function module, and another function module of the MAC layer function module, the RLC layer function module, the PDCP layer function module, and the RRC function module except the function module included in the central unit.
